The plight of the lowley Rutabega

Rutabegas get no respect. When was the last time you heard any thing good said about a rutabega? Not all that recently right? Well it`s time the bega got some good press. Let me tell`ya, you can do lots of things with rutabegas other then "just" eating them(as if that isn`t enough). For example there excellent paperweights, for a couple of weeks. You can also make shrunkin "ruta-heads" for your friends and family, there easy carving and make great gifts! It`s also said that the waxy covering, when shaved off, melted down, strained and purified, makes really good candels. Try doing any of that with a carrot.
