Karate is basically a traditional Japanese system of unarmed combat; sharp blows and kicks are given to pressure sensitive points on the body of the opponent. Lots of exercises like abdomen kicks, push-ups, rotation exercises and so many have to be in a regular practice that I haven't mentioned it here.

 KATHA'S:

Katha is basically an imaginary fight stance. There are different types of katha and each one is identified with its unique name. Kicks, blocks, punches and stances are grouped together in a combinational basis to form a katha. Most of the katha's fit in to a perceptual structure which is `I`[uppercase alphabet 'I'] in shape.

 KUMUTHE:

Kumuthe, is a synonym for fight in Japanese. "Santhan kumuthe" which is one of the most popular fights which is only three steps in short. Concisely, it includes three forward & backward movements and it may end with a counter punch, kick, block etc. The physical body has to be seasoned properly before getting in to the kumuthe. Apparently, a partner is mandatory to practice this kumuthe.
