Welcome to My World.
4/9/2004: I'm not going to update this particular site anymore, and may in fact just delete it. Go to
http://www.copus.org for my main site.
1/14/2004: Ok, a little update: I've graduated, moved to Akron, and now work for Lockheed Martin. Oh, and Jeff found this childhood picture of me that I had inexplicably altered at some time or another... see if you can find what I altered!
You're right, I was originally bald in the photo!
8/9/2003: Some people pretend to be interested in what I do in grad school, so some of the stuff I've done is explained at
my EE homepage.
3/15/2003: So, rather than actually study for finals, I've decided to respond to some of the requests I get about my geneology. I'll probably put up a detailed geneology when I get around to it, but, in short, I'm the great-great-great-great grandson of the Rev. James Robert Copus that people occasionally email me about. A rather detailed account regarding why that is important can be found
here at the Heritage Pursuit website. I gather that this account will be part of the outdoor drama being built at the Copus Massacre site near Mifflin, Ohio. Information about that venture can be found at the
Johnny Appleseed Heritage Center & Outdoor Drama website. Neat stuff. It's confusing enough sharing an office with a guy named James, it should be even stranger seeing an outdoor drama where they keep bandying around my name. I hope you find these links more interesting than pictures of me kissing a statue of a pig, or outdated pictures of a town I lived in almost a decade ago. I may post more geneology stuff later, but I think my advisor would rather I get back to working on my master's thesis.....
Thanks to Jamie Begin for posting this
page showing my sixth grade LEAP class in Toledo. I'm the one in the middle row second from the left, if you can't figure it out. And no, I don't know why I'm slouching so strangely. And no, I don't think I'm about to start grabbing my crotch in the photo.
