OBJECTIVE
To provide additional skills to the retrenched and the unemployed so as to enhance their employability.

ELIGIBILITY OF CANDIDATES

• Only applicable for Malaysia
• Anyone who has been retrenched and not working in any company
• SPM holders who have been unemployed for at least 3 years
• Candidates must meet entry requirements of programs
  

• Form PSMB/SLP/1/01
• 2 passport size photographs
• Certified copy of IC
• Copy of retrenchment letter / notice certified by previous employer or the nearest Labour Officer
• Copies of salary slips for the last 3 months of employment certified by previous employer or the nearest Labour Officer
• Certified copy of the last academic qualification achieved
• Copy of page 1 and 2 of applicant's RHB savings account's book

• Retrenched Workers
  For retrenched workers, a monthly allowance of 50% of the last drawn gross salary with a minimum of RM200 and a maximum of RM500 is payable to participants of full time courses.
  
• Unemployed SPM Holders
  For the unemployed SPM holders, a monthly allowance of RM200 is payable to participants in full time courses.
  

PENALTY FOR DROP OUTS
Successful applicants are required to sign a letter of undertaking not to drop out and if they do, they will be required to pay the full amount of the program and refund the monthly allowance taken.

LIMIT ON PARTICIPATION IN PROGRAMS
To offer equal opportunity to everyone, every candidate is only allowed to attend one of the programs listed.

CONFIRMATION FROM KISMEC
Successful candidated will receive a letter of offer from KISMEC along with a letter of undertaking which must be acknowledged and signed.

REGISTRATION
Registration can be done through forms that is available at KISMEC. To help KISMEC process the application, a copy of the retrenchment letter must be submitted.
