Sr. Customer Technical Service Representative at Deutsche Boerse Systems (January 2000–Present):

Deutsche Boerse Systems is one of the world’s most successful exchange organizations. As a Senior Customer Technical Service Representative, my responsibility is to provide technical support for financial institutions with their MISS servers (Member Integrated System Server) and workstations. I am also responsible for providing onsite technical support for mission critical servers/workstation and LAN/WAN performance problems.

Some accomplishments include:

· Administered/Implemented different models of Sun Solaris servers and workstations

· Participated in software kit testing and contributed to LAN/WAN design and decisions

· Diagnosed and assisted in finding solutions for LAN/WAN bottlenecks

· Developed administrative tools using perl, ksh, and bsh to perform various functions including detection and reporting of system failures, application errors, packet collisions, and automation of common tasks

· Configured and installed Sun Solaris (version 6, 8, 9, and 10), Red Hat Linux, W2K Server

· Advised System/Network Administrators, IT Directors, Developers on setup and configuration of electronic trading servers/workstation to obtain maximum performance in their LAN/WAN infrastructure

System/Network Administrator at Ambulatory Health Care Services (March 2000-December 2000)

Ambulatory Health Care Services provide home health care services, Medical Equipment, and etc. As a System and Network Administrator, I maintained their whole IT infrastructure.

Some accomplishments include:

· Implemented and designed network infrastructure (worked as an IT consultant since 1997)

· Researched and installed hardware and software for domain controllers and workstations

· Performed hardware maintenance, upgrades, and component-level troubleshooting on workstations and servers

· Managed data storage using Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File Systems, and Hewlett-Packard Logical Volume Manager

· Managed backups, restores, and backup policies using Legato Networker with DLT tape libraries

· Installed, maintained, and debugged open source and proprietary software packages

· Compiled technical documentation for users and administrators

· Installed, maintained Sonic firewall

· Configured dial-up connections to Medicare and Public Aide to submit data for billing and patient information

· Coordinated with Medicare and Public Aide with software testing and implementation

· Advised departmental managers in hardware and software solutions to meet their current and future needs

MCI WorldCom was one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world. As a WAN Facilities Analyst/Telco Analyst, I managed and monitored New York and New Jersey circuits.
