The story Macbeth was written by the well known writter, Shakespeare. This story shows how a man starts to become insane after his killing spree. But for me it also displays a two themes that can be related to everyones lives.
The first theme would infact be impatience. It is Macbeths impatience that seems to power his first assassination. It showed that he was willing to do anything to get what he wanted, when of course he may have received what he wanted without having to commit murder. I am sure that sometimes I appear to do the same thing. Take christmas for example, no one can resist the temption of trying to see what you are infact recieving. Even tough there is that risk of getting caught and in trouble. But in our minds it always seems as if the reward is always greater then the possible punishment. Yet of course that is the wrong way to think. Just as Macbeth himself found out as his punishment was a crazed suicidal wife, and ultimately his own death.
The next theme would be greed. Which is something that no one can say that they have never felt. It almost seems as if this feeling can engulf you and totally over power you. I believe that greed just causes a feeling of power which no one could turn down. Even I sometimes become a bit to greedy. Such as when I ask for many things from my parents. I should just be satisfied with what I have, but greed is a very hard temptation to resist. It seems as if our parents are trying to help us resist this temptation. They do this by setting restrictions and so on.
Overall the themes of Macbeth have taught me how these morals can truely effect lives. That I should do everything in my power to resist them. Because it is greed and impatience that seems to corrupt the lives of many.
