Legion of Mary

Legion of Mary is a church organization whose aim is "To make one's own life holy and so does for the others."  The legionaries, as we are called, attend weekly meetings and perform outreach programs as part of our apostolate.  We are not claming that we are holy, indeed.  But we are trying our best to live our lives the closest possible to righteousness.

Our praesidium's (or group's) name is Queen of Heaven and Earth.  We were established about eight years ago.  That was November 7, 1993 and I was one of the founding members.  Nowadays, I am serving my three-year term as president.

Our upcoming activity will be the September function-our tribute for the coming birthday of our Blessed Virgin Mary.

Society of University Mathematics Students UP (SUMS UP)

SUMS UP is a university-based org located at the room 104 of the Mathematics building.  Only on its fourth year of existence, SUMS UP has already done some activities like CD raffles, film showings and Sportsfest for its members and applicants.  We lend sample exams to those who are in need.  Our upcoming event will be the AMA Night (Applicants-Members-Alumni Night).

SUMS UP also participated in the TrivBits, UP CompSoc's annual interactive quiz show.  But we will give our best next year.  This year is just a warm up.
