Parker Lewis Can't Lose

IMDB.com entry, check it out

I grew up watching Parker Lewis. Since I was young back then I understood only half of what was going on. But it did have something special that made me not lose interest. Several years later, the show was aired again on our local tv and I got to enjoy Parker Lewis and his friends again. It was a great feeling to watch one of the most unforgettable characters again and now understanding everything that was going on. As all of you probably know this is one of the weirdest teen series ever. Even as it has stereotypes and feel-good stuff in it, it's a lot about thoughts. It makes us think and make us realize how much other people around us also think, that they are not robots responding to a certain problem or question everytime the same way. Well, they are, but in their free time they must also be thinking about what they said/done, what they should have said/done and deeper thinking. Not that Parker Lewis was a deep series, it just was very entertaining and was a definite plus in my life. I recommend it to everyone, regardless of age or personality.

Side Note : Parker Lewis was quite popular in that era when I was growing up. So my whole cluster of cousins knew about it and of course talked about it. But for me, Parker Lewis is associated with my cousin Sandy. He was often mocked as being Parker Lewis as he was at that time always in thought, reflecting on things I guess. Cause of that he got the nickname of "Reflection". Those were the years, :)
