Hello Everyone,
iFlipout.com, established in November of 2001 has since become a major influence in the MUD communtiy. When first created, it was run on a small Pentuim 233. Overtime it grew to several, much faster machines. Our user base grew into the triple digits, we expanded, allowing our users not only free MUD hosting, but free web hosting, E-mail, and domain hosting as well.
However, iFlipout.com grew beyond it's means much too fast. Over the past few months it took longer and longer for the limited staff to respond to E-mails, repair problems with accounts, and overall help the community of users. Security issues have become a major issue with the servers, as time and time again users used iFlipout.com servers for uses other than what they were established for.
iFlipout.com will return. We are going to work to upgrade, repair, reformat, and re-establish iFlipout.com. When we return, the servers will be faster, more secure, and provide a better experience for the iFlipout.com community. We will remain a free service, depending on money out of my own pocket as well as money from users who are able to donate it. We are also going to work to create a new iFlipout website as well. Make user creation simple and in real time. Make it possible for users to get real time help and support with any issues that arrive. Overall we are looking to great a better MUD'ing community.
Please return to iFlipout.com in the near future for updates, as we will return. We will post information as to if previous accounts will be restored as well as other information.
