Hmong Minnesota News
Hmong Minnesota Radio (HMR) is the first Hmong owned full time radio station in the world, and it broadcasts on a subcarrier FM signal which has a range of 75 miles radius; and is received on a special radio. Since we began broadcasting on July 3, 2003, our listeners grew from 200 households to about 10,000 households. We expect our listeners will increase to about 30,000 by the end of 2004.
