CD Types , Handling and Inserting CDs

There are many varying brands and makes of CDs on the market today.

They come in a range of speeds, MB size and types.

The main three can be seen below:


CD-R Cd`s are able to be used to record data , the however are ONLY recordable and no further additional data can be added or removed.	CD-RW CDs are able to be used to record data with that addition of being able to delete and reuse as well as add any further data required.	DVD-RW CDs are used for recording Video such as Movies as well as data. It is also rewriteable so addition data can be added.

Correct way to handle a CD

Care must be taken when handling CDs .

Be sure to only touch the outer edge and centre of the CD
