ALCHEMY.EXE - DOS command line utility. The primary function is to resize and/or reformat to more PC graphics formats than I had ever even heard of. Just the DOC file is worth reading to be well-informed on the basics of the many formats in use for PC graphics files. From the homepage at Handmade Software: "Image Alchemy supports over 90 different raster image formats including all colorspace and compression variations of each format. Color management features include gamma correction, undercolour removal, seven high quality dithers, colorspace conversion, and palette manipulation."
