Linux users have a new found love affair with their DOSEMU DOS emulator and DOS applications. DOS users have Linux workalike utilities that perform as well as Linux utilities even using the same switches but do not require the use of a Linux emulator or DOSEMU. While Linux users applaud their opensource OS, Linux is not the only opensource OS available. FreeDOS is opensource and has existed for as long as MINIX and LINUX have been available. We can all applaud the fact that Linux users recognize a good thing when they see it - DOS! Legacy PC's and XT's (8088's and 8086's) will have no problem using text-only access for this website, there is no javascripting used on these pages that would interfere with older browsers.
