- MS Internet Explorer v3.03 - Last v3 of IExplorer, really v3.0f but also referred to as v3.03? This full install version includes MS Winsock, Shiva Dialer (best available for W31), but minimal javascripting (level 1.0?).
- System Requirements: Not certain that an 80386 with only 4meg of memory can handle this but it should work? I have used v3.0b here myself with 4meg of memory. If you have doubts go for the MINMAL install included here but you'll need a WINSOCK, there isn't one included in a minimal install archive.

- MS Internet Explorer v5.0 - Last release of a 16 BIT version of IExplorer. This full install version includes MS Winsock, Shiva Dialer, MSOutlook/emailer, and better javascripting than previous versions but the javascripting isn't as updated as you might hope for?
- System Requirements: 16 meg of memory minimum and 60 meg or so to install this one. Not a good one for an old 80386 or a too-slow 486 either.
- Installed Size: 50 meg plus allowing for it's temporary files.

- Misc:You will need to D/L IE5W16a.ZIP, IE5W16b.ZIP and IE5W16c.ZIP (See Public folder). Had a problem with the SHIVA dialer after a full install on a Pentium 60 machine. Uninstalled it but may try again as a minimal install using my existing Trumpet Winsock and dialer?

- Opera v3.62 - Last 16 bit version of Opera. Minimal javascripting, fast for a W3.x browser. Not as stable as IExplorer but I use it daily for it's speed.

- Trumpet Winsock v2.0b - Newer versions of the Trumpet Winsock are timed-use and will expire in 30 days. This version is unlimited shareware and does not stop working in 30 days. Archive includes WS_FTP.EXE which is one of the most popular FTP for 16 bit Windows.

Trumpet Winsock is not the easiest to configure. Works good though, I use it here. Tip: Common configurations for Trumpet are MTU:576 MSS:536 RWIN:2144 or MTU:1006 MSS:966 RWIN:3864 or MTU:1500 MSS:1460 RWIN:4380.
