PET OF THE MONTH....
"Copenhagen"!!!
Our pet of the month introduces herself...
This month we are featuring Copenhagen
"Still Waiting For A Home"
Hello, "I am Copenhagen"I was rescued 8-27-02 from Plaquemines Parish Pound.
I am about 2 1/2 yrs old.
The ladies at S.A.F. think I am so beautiful, which I am.They also say that I am very sweet and calm.
We think someone must have been moving and couldn't take this lovely girl, she was well taken care of.She is hoping to find her perfect match and her forever home.
We think she is Border Collie or even Shepard mix.Her face looks like a Shepard.Anyway she is a great dog and we are pretty sure she is already house trained. She is a very calm girl, would make a lovely companion. If you would like to adopt Copenhagen fill out the on-line application.
This is a time we have been waiting for, we are moving into our future to help the animals in Plaquemines Parish.
The council has finally approved a contract between the Parish and PAWS.
Now we are moving into a small adoption place to handle adoptions all week, plus we will still be going to PetsMart every other weekend.
This is going to be a very exciting time for all of us; we plan to get the community involved with us in helping these homeless animals.
"P.A.W.S." is the new Southern Animal Foundation Plaquemines Parish; we changed the name and starting all new.
If you are interested in getting a pet please consider adopting one of our recycled pets. We have dogs and cats that are begging for love and a new home, where it is warm and they will be loved and not thrown away again.
