Fire Apparatus - Green Creek

The Green Creek Volunteer Fire Company is located just across the bridge from Wildwood, NJ. Station 73 adopted the color green for their equipment that is well maintained and very eye catching. At this years (2006) NJ State Firefighter's Convention held in Wildwood, this fire company collected four trophys for their equipment and most importantly, the efforts of their members. Engine 7344, their Pierce Quantum was selected as Best in the State again, and for the past 3-5 years. Their Hummer, 7321, was awarded the brush truck award and all of Green Creek's equipment was voted as best overall for their county. They also collected an award for the best appearing county fire company. My hat is off to you'll for a job well done.

A Trailblazer/Peterbilt is used as Tanker 7345. What a shine on that tank. Click on image for a larger view.

Engine 7333 is a 1997 Pierce Saber pumper for the fire company. Click on image for a larger view.

The oldest piece in the fire company is this 1996 Hummer equipped with a Darley pump. Brush 7321 should be painted to match the other trucks in my opinion, but still looks very sharp. Click on image for a larger view.

A 1998 Ford, F250, 4x4 is used as Utility 7310 for the department. Click on image for a larger view.

A family portriot of the green machines of Green Creek. Next time we will have to cut down some of the trees and bushes to see the equipment better. Click on image for a larger view.

The fire convention trophys collected for this year (2006) in Wildwood. Click on image for a larger view.
