Station 86 - Marrero-Regusa VFD

Marrero-Ragusa is another fire company located in the Marrero, LA area. Their area of coverage includes from Ames Blvd in the west to almost the Harvey Canal in the east. From the south of the West Bank Expressway northward to the Mississippi River. Area of responsibility is primarily residential, but industry is located at the river. Neighboring fire departments include Westwego, Marrero-Estelle, Marrero-Harvey, and Harvey.

This is a shot from way back in 1982 of a beautiful American LaFrance pumper housed at Marrero/Ragusa Station 86 in Marrero, LA. The Dalmation is "Lady".

Marrero-Ragusa Volunteer Fire Company in Marrero, LA took delivery of 5 Ferrara trucks around the end of 1999. Looking sharp in the two tone paint, chrome wheels, and lightning bolt on the side. This Ferrara built rescue seats 8 and can also be used as a command center. There is plenty of walk in space behind the driver's seat in the aft section of the custom cab.
