Stations __/__ - Bayou Cane VFD

Those attractive black over chrome yellow trucks belong to Bayou Cane Volunteer Fire Department located near Bayou Lafourche and the city of Houma, LA.

Engine 5 is a 1985 E-ONE/International Squrt with a 55' boom. It is seen here in front of the central station on LA-24 in Bayou Cane, LA.

Bayou Cane has several trucks, but this is the most interesting to me. It's a 1969 Mack 75' Snorkel. Ladder 3 was recently refurbished and is looking good in the fresh chrome yellow with black roof and white stripe.

This 1979 E-One/International was previously owned by a diving company making it an ideal piece to add to the Bayou Cane fleet. It is primarily used for dive rescue and is equipped with a cascade system. Squad 4 is their rescue vehicle.

Bayou Cane's newest truck seen here at the IAFC convention in Denver, Colorado. Its a huge mid-mount 2005 Ferrara ladder. I hope to get some daylight pics time permitting.

Ladder 8 as seen here a year after the chief's convention in Denver in 2005. Nice looking truck for a Ferrara.
