Resurrection is a Black Metal band coming out of Los Angeles, CA wich was formed early 1996. Following months of preparation, Resurrection was formed by founding members Oscar E. 'Guitar/Vocals' and Efren V. 'Drums'. Months later adding their 3rd member Carlos G. as a second guitarist. Creating original material following their influenced Death/Black Metal bands such as Mayhem, Emperor, Darkthrone, Morbid Angel,Gorgoroth,Slayer,Immortal,Deicide Possessed,Marduk,Venom,Dissection,Bathory,Satyricon, Celtic Frost and so forth.

In the year 1999 Oscar decided to leave the band because of musical differences. Resurrection came across line-up problems after Oscar had departured from the band and would be until late 2000 when Resurrection would return with full force and a total new line-up.

In August of 2000, A new line-up was formed, Still remaining with one original member Efren 'drums'. A new guitaris comes to Resurrection Chris with experience from his former bands joins forces with Efren to create new and original material and a whole different sound. Lalo former vocalist for (Infernal Diatrive) comes across to join forces with the band. Resurrection started working on new material wich was to be realeased in the summer of 2001.

In the summer of 2001 Resurrection released a Demo CD entitled "Dawn Of A New Death",wich was self-released the demo has six infernal tracks. The respose to this demo CD was more than what it was expected. Resurrection continues creating new material. Be prepare for upcoming brutality.
