LSU completely dominates an inferior UL-Lafayette team, 48-0

Matt Mauck went 8-for-19 for 138 yards and three touchdown passes in the romp over the Cajuns.

In front of a crowd of over 91,000 in Tiger Stadium, the 19th-ranked LSU Tigers completely dominated an overwhelmed ULL Ragin' Cajun team with a 48-0 Homecoming win.

The Tiger offense scored at will throughout the first half, collecting 41 points with three running and three passing touchdowns.

LSU's defense was the most dominating unit on Saturday night.  The Tiger D held the Cajuns to a meager 70 yards of total offense.  At halftime, the Cajuns had twenty-seven total yards on thirty plays. (Full Story)

 

Tigers use ground game and solid defense to beat MSU, 31-13

Corey Webster snatched his first two picks as a Tiger against MSU.

Domanick Davis amassed 285 all-purpose yards and the Tiger defense nabbed three interceptions as LSU surged past the Mississippi State Bulldogs 31-13 in Tiger Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Despite the fact that the LSU offense failed to really get going early in the first half, the Tigers charged into halftime leading 14-10 behind a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown by Domanick Davis and an amazing 70-yard touchdown drive that consisted exclusively of running plays. (Full Story)
