Don't you know
the truth?
That lovers of all time
have proved the meaning ,
of immortal love.
That no-one, or distance
or seperation,
nothing, nor even death can
seperate immortal love.
How can you
doubt my love?
When I have
proved to you
that it is true.
Immortal beloved
come inside my heart,
and my thoughts
and live there but for
a day or even an hour,
and see what
you mean to me.
But when we strike
a painful blow
we both suffer,
don't you know?
That love is immortal
and will grow.
Your own words
were these:
"God gives us
but one heart
to love only one".
Words of wisdom
coming from you.
Immortal beloved,
why do you question me,
and test me so often?
Haven't you
read the books?
Romeo and Juliet,
Heloise and Abelard,
Antony and Cleopatra,
David and Beersheba,
Sampson and Delilah
Isaac and Rhebeka
so many immortal lovers.
They have a lesson to teach.
Why do you doubt me?
Search your heart and soul
and ask your-self this one thing.
Do you believe in immortality?
Do you believe in us?
Do you believe in me?
