My name is Adrianne Duet. I have been a resident of Cut Off, Louisiana for eighteen years. I graduated from South Lafourche High School in the spring of 2001, and began my studies at Northwestern State University in the fall of 2001. I plan to finish my degree in Veterinary Technology, and apply to Veterinarian School. I am currently single, because I wish to concentrate on my career. Once I have completed school and begin working, I'll worry about rest.
I love to play sports. I have been playing softball since the age of 3. My Mom and Dad always told me, ”I learned how to hold a baseball bat before I learned how to walk.” I also like to play other sports such as, volleyball, golf, and basketball. I played softball for two years in High School, and one year of golf in Jr. High. In High School I was in Future Farms of America for 3 years. I went to literary rally of two years. I placed 4th one year, and 3rd the other year, and for both years I qualified for the state rally at Louisiana State University.
My family and my animals are my life. I have "Lexi," a 48-pound basset hound, better known as "my sugar momma." And then there is "Nuppy" better known as "the king of the jungle." He is a domesticated tomcat with 23 pounds of attitude! I come from a family of four, to which I am the youngest. We have been living Cut Off, LA all of my life. My best friend and I have known each other for six-teen years. Her name is Desiree and her love of her is Kacy. He is a really cool guy and I am so happy for her. Although it is small, Cut Off is a very unique town. Nicknamed as "Cajun Country" the people here are so friendly, inviting, and not to mention the best cooks you will ever find. I do not think I'll ever leave!
