We also see Gigantis squash JWilk, and "Insane Homicidal" Justice Legal humiliate Leeds. We're shown a flashback of "The Game" triumphing over "Dangerous" Cliff Saxton. Also, "The Prodigy" Caleb Cross getting rid of the WWG for good. The feud bubbles between Tyroneus Del Rio, and the Wreckin' Crew, allowing the ReArrangers to walk out still XWF Tag Team Champions. Finally the reason we're here, and that's Xavier Phoenix scoring a pinfall to earn himself a shot against Carlos Shotgun tonight for the #1 contender spot. "Showdown! June 14th".******
Now, we open up back LIVE! in Atlanta, Georgia inside the jam packed Georgia Dome for this XWF event known as Showdown! taking place on HBO After Dark. The crowd is on their feet, and seem plenty excited for tonight's events. We are shown a still image of 'The Original' who plans to be here tonight to make an official announcement regarding his career. The XWF fans are livid, and over 40,000 people are gathered to witness the 2nd Showdown! of the summer!!! Signs such as: "TV_MA", "Original YOU'RE FIRED!", "Who is Leeds??", "Caleb Cross 1-0", "XAVIER PHOENIX", "Dungeon of Death" and finally "Shotgun SUCKS". We then cut to ringside where Alex "Cool" Beans, and James Shaw are standing by for commentary.
What a week it has been for us! Following our first Showdown! of the summer.. we came back hard, and the people have high expectations for what's about to go down tonight....
Well, you got that right! I mean, it's the 2nd episode of our back-to-back week of Showdown!, and tonight there's a lot more at stake than last week.
Yeah, I'd say so .. this week the official #1 contendership is on the line for our very prestigious XWF World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight, we will find out what it will take for both these men to make their statement, and pull out the victor here tonight.
Can't be easy! For either man that is James Shaw ... I mean, you've got Carlos Shotgun a 2-time XWF World Champ in one corner .. but, on the otherhand .. Xavier Phoenix already owns a pinfall over Shotgun when he eliminated him from the "Xtreme Battle Zone" just a few months back ...
Yeah, it was in both their hometown of Puerto Rico .. fellow puerto ricans with a rich bloodline, and a passion for the wrestling buisness. Couple months back on that pay per view event ... they certainly risked all they had, and like you said it was the rookie scoring his biggest pinfall to-date. Well, that was until last week when he earned this match!
Yep, he did earn it Shaw, and that's why he's in our main event this week. But, what about Shotgun? You got to believe his blood is boiling, and he'll do whatever it takes to get his hands around Mark Adkins' throat.. I mean, lets be honest! No love loss there. Despite what took place at "Xtreme Mania 6" just a few weeks back...
Tonight is a different story though! There's is a lot at stake, and we will find that out here in just a moment .... what about The Original showing up tonight, and by the way ... rumor has it Chris Falkenyork will not be here this week to make any other sort of "judgement call". Tonight, GM Shawn Taylor is in full control. So, what does that mean for The Original?? I mean, over a month ago he was regarded as one of the top main eventers in the XWF, and now .. apparently ... he's been FIRED ... by Chris Falkenyork of all people ...
One of the top players James Shaw, that's for sure. But, I'm curious as to what he's even doing here? If he's "fired".. what buisness does he even have out here tonight??
We will find that out shortly!
Just then an image shoots on the titan tron. It is the back of someone, and they have long brown flowing hair, and a huge fur coat draped on him. The fans immediately grow restless, and start getting excited as Xavier Phoenix spins around to face the XWF people.
Xavier Phoenix: So, .. so ... so .... what is up with the XWF people? They come here for a show tonight??
Fans POP in the arena! Some boo'ing this view of Xavier Phoenix on the titan tron.
Let me guess you came to see the showdown! .. and I'm not talking about the name of this show. I'm talking about the first ever 1-on-1 encounter between myself, and Carlos Shotgun. Well, Carlos .. we already know what happend last time, don't we? That's right. I pinned you. I beat you, and that was my first time ever even stepping in an XWF squared-circle. Tonight, there is just about the same at stake ... .. the XWF Title is looming, and I'm one step away from getting my hands on that prized possession. One more pinfall away from getting a World Title shot, and showing the world just exactly who I am. Show them the reason these XWF executives hunted me down in the first place ..... to be their next face... to be the top dawg of this company. To take the XWF to never-before-seen heights! To make the XWF World Championship worth something again. Well, folks .. I won't disappoint. Tonight, I'm going to secure my spot in the main event at "Independence Day"!
The crowd cheers!! Even though a lot of them are having mixed reactions on tonight's events. They are still real excited to get this Showdown! started, and as Xavier Phoenix steps away on the titan tron we fade in to our intro package.
When we fade back in FIREWORKS are exploding off everywhere!!! Pyros, and loud screaming fans really make the stadium roarr with excitement!!!! Standing in the ring already is a man by the name of L.E.E.D.S. All of a sudden William Knighthawk's theme music, and titan tron package take over the arena's attention.
Out comes William Knighthawk to a nice ovation from the crowd! Lot of people like what they see from him so far, and he looks ready to fight tonight. He slides in the ring, and takes his spot in the corner.
"The Dark Prince" William Knighthawk vs. L.E.E.D.S. - Standard Match -
The bell sounds, and this match is underway. Leeds points out at William Knighthawk, and shouts something to him. They both start circling each other up, and William Knighthawk is quick to squat down, grab one of his legs, and pull it out from underneath him! He's got Leeds trapped in an Ankle Lock, and he wrenches back on him!! Leeds tries with all his might to fight it off. But, he's almost tapping here.. he rolls forward through it though, and sends William Knighthawk spilling to the mat. Leeds get back to his feet, and holds the back of head. He starts arguing with the ref, and claims there's foul play. Knighthawk goes for a big hand, and Leeds ducks it. Leeds tries to use Knighthawk's momentum to set him up for a Back Breaker. But, instead.. Knighthawk wiggles out of it, and plants Leeds with a hard Clothesline! He scoops him up off the ground, and sets him up for one of his famous Cradle Piledrivers! He makes the cover, and the easy 1, 2, 3! The fans immediately celebrate this victory for William Knighthawk as he raises his hands high in the air, and knows he just destroyed Leeds out there!!

GM, Shawn Taylor: NO! It's not .. what you are really going to do .. is renew your vows. Get an OPPORTUNITY to win this match tonight, and get to name your stipulation for our cyber sunday event.. "Independence" only on HBO!
And you're telling me if I do win tonight.. no title shot yet ... but, I get to pick my stip?

Xavier Phoenix walks off, and William Knighthawk stares off in his direction as the scene cuts back to ringside. The "Insane Homicidal" Justice Legal is already in the ring getting ready for some action. When "The Prodigy" Caleb Cross' theme music hits over the loud speakers, and the fans rise to their feet once again! This time is seems like the crowd is giving Caleb Cross a ton of heat. Though he does still have supporters in the building. He makes his way down the ramp, and in to the ring for an immediate face-to-face confrentation with "Legally Insane" Justice Legal.
Caleb Cross vs. Justice Legal - Xtreme Rules -
They start off barking at each other, and they back off a bit. Caleb Cross removes his jacket, and gets set in the corner. The bell sounds, and this match is ready to get started! They quickly lock up in the center of the ring. But, Justice Legal wins the quick battle of strength. Shoving Cross in to the corner, and working him over for a bit. Caleb tries to send him across the ring with an Irishwhip. But, Legally Insane reverses it, and sends Caleb back-first in to post, and that hard shot takes him to the mat! Justice Legal throws on a quick Camel's Clutch, and wears his opponent down. He is really working Caleb Cross over with that move. But, he refuses to tap! Justice Legal breaks the hold on his own, and stomps away on him. He eventually tosses him outside the ring, and goes to work on him out there. However, Caleb Cross reverses an irish whip, and sends Justice Legal back first in to that outside steel post. Cross then stands on the barricade, and drops an Ax Handle Smash on top of Legal's back!! Justice Legal screams out in pain, and Caleb Cross brings a kendo stick out! He starts beating him Justice Legal, and slides him in the ring. Caleb Cross misses when he tries to swing with that kendo stick, and Justice Legal kicks him in the gut instead. Planting him with a huge Double Arm Hook DDT!! Caleb Cross kicks out on 2! Legal goes back to work on Cross, and puts him in wear down maneuvers. Eventually he grabs the kendo stick himself, and actually breaks it over his leg. Caleb Cross however SPEARS him out of nowhere!! But, Cross is unable to pick up the 3-count! Caleb goes on the offensive, and drops him with Backbreakers, and a Body Slam! Followed by an Atomic Drop, and a Dropkick. But, Justice Legals still manages to kick out of a 3-count! Cross argues with the ref momentarily, and goes back to work throwing Legal in a sleeperhold on the canvas. But, Legal gets his foot on the rope, and the hold is broke. Justice Legal kicks Cross in the gut, and tries to change momentum of the match. But, instead Caleb trips him up, and gets him in a "Crossbow" better known as the 'Rings of Saturn'. Caleb Cross tries to get Justice Legal to tap out to this Signature Move! But, Justice Legal again gets his foot on the rope. Cross argues with official, and Legal sees his moment. He ducks a right hand, kicks Cross in the gut, and lifts him up for a Guntwrench Powerbomb! He delivers that high impact move!! But, Caleb Cross manages to kick out on 2. Justice Legal goes up top, and goes for a BIG LEG off the top. But, Caleb Cross moves in time, and Justice Legal catches nothing but a stiff canvas. Caleb Cross kicks hard across the face, and Justice Legal rolls around in pain. He attempts to get up, and "The Prodigy" Caleb Cross goes for an "Elite" (fameasser).. he DRILLS it!! He covers the "Insane Homicidal" Justice Legal up for the 1, 2, 3! Caleb Cross wins!

Whilte, Caleb Cross is celebrating however. Justice Legal sneaks up behind him, and clocks him with a big forearm to the back of the head! He stomps away on his head as he lays helpess on the mat!! The fans boo'ing now for Justice Legal. As he slides out of the ring, and actually goes under the outside apron to pull out a wooden table! Some fans pop for this moment, and others are simply stirring. He slides the table in the ring, and then slides in to put a couple more boots to the back of Caleb Cross' head. He scoops him up, and body slams him to the mat for good measure! Justice Legal then manages to lift Caleb Cross off the canvas, and plant him through the table with a sickenin' Powerbomb!! The crowd can't believe it, and he demands a mic from Danielle Worley at ringside.
Justice Legal: That's it!! CRIMSON TIDE... I told you I wanted a responce by THIS WEEK.. now where are you? Huh?? Bring yourself out from the back ... come down this ramp, and face me like a man damnit .... so, I can ask you what I need to ask you. Involving the soon to be next greatest stable... the "Dungeon of Death"!! Now, you come out here Crimson Tide, and you respond to myself .. on behalf of the D.O.D.
But, no Crimson Tide. EMT's rush out to help on injured Caleb Cross. But, Crimson Tide doesn't come out for Justice Legal's request.
Okay, okay. Maybe it was too short of notice for you. Afterall.. you're an XWF Hall of Famer! You were the 1st man to sign a contract in your own blood back in 1998! So, maybe .. maybe you're a little beat up from your match back at Xtreme Mania 6 ... but, I'll tell you what .... I'll give you ONE MORE CHANCE. Just "ONE MORE".. CHANCE. Crimson Tide.. if you aren't in this ring. Face-to-face with the man who brought the XWF the "Dungeon of Death". Well, worse things will happen.. then what just happend right here a moment ago ... that means CRIMSON TIDE ..I want you to be in Washington, DC .. to discuss joinin the group known as D.O.D. ... . and witness firsthand the beating I give to whoever I'm facing at INDEPENDENCE DAY!
Justice Legal lets out an evil smirk, and stares down at the injured body, and the mess he just made of Caleb Cross by putting him through that table!

Hey be careful of The Game's antics tonight! Don't let him distract you with renewing of his vows. I mean, you know what he did last time.. you know what this guy is capable of.

We then cut to a scene in the back parking lot area where Caleb Cross is shown being carted off in to an ambulance backstage. Justice Legal is shown smiling as it pulls away .. GM, Shawn Taylor walks in the view, and receives a mini pop but mostly heat from the crowd inside the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia.
You know what ... I didn't like what I saw after the match.
Oh, you mean calling out the legend Crimson Tide? Well, I was. ..
Shawn Taylor has a disturb look on his face like he can't believe he just said that. He cuts him off.
No, psycho. What you just did to Caleb Cross ... that was simply dispicable.. ... so you know what? At INDEPENDENCE DAY.. barring medical clearance ... and Cross is a tough guy I'm sure he'll be ready. It'll be YOU two .. 1-on-1 in a rematch at our cyber sunday event.. only THIS time it's a TABLES match!!! ...

Which appears to have been ended officially at Xtreme Mania when Falkenyork took it upon himself with his new power to "FIRE" him. Now, his official departure from the XWF is scheduled to take place LIVE! tonight on HBO After Dark.. you won't want to miss it ...

A few HBO shows are always previewed to this summer. Including the return of True Blood, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. We cut back to ringside where rhe ring is set up to look like a wedding chapel. "The Game" is in his tuxedo, and "HERE COMES THE BRIDE.." starts playing over the loud speakers. The people immediately roar in to a chorus of boo's as Stephanie McMahon makes her way out in a white wedding dress. A flower girl leads her down the ramp, and "The Game" helps hold the ropes open for her. They step to the podium, and the pastor brings the ceremony.
Pastor: Ladies, and gentlemen.. we are gathered here today .. for the renewing of vows between "The Game", and his beautiful wife.. Stephanie. Have you the vows??
The Game reaching in to his pocket, and looks deep in her eyes.
Stephanie .. from the moment I laid eyes on you ...
The crowd boo's. She weaps.
I knew you were the only one for me .... . and I promise to always love you, cherish you, and honor you .. all the days of my life! Just as I have up until this point, and baby .. Steph .. honey ... I promise it will only get better from here on out ...
The crowd boo's. They both smile at each other, and Stephanie leans over to says her vows now.

Suddenly, GIGANTIS' theme music begins blaring over the loudspeakers, and people go absolutely crazy for him!!! He makes his way down the ramp, and "The Game" stomps around in his tuxedo alll upset at this incident. The officials start clearing the ring of the wedding junk, and Stephanie is completely sobbing now. She can't believe that they have all ruined their renewing off the vows here on HBO After Dark! The Game is furious, and rips his tuxedo jacket off. He tears his white colared button-up off, and with veins popping out of his neck he is urging Gigantis to step in the ring with him now!!
The Game vs. Gigantis - Xtreme Rules -
It is Xtreme Rules this time, and when Gigantis steps in the ring The Game goes ape shit! He stomps away on the monster as he steps over the top rope. But, that only slows the monster down. He sends The Game head over hills, and goes to attack him as he tries to get up by the ropes. Gigantis delivers a HUGE overhand CHOP!! Reminiscent of their match at Xtreme Mania they are both coming to fight here tonight!! The Game delivers a legal lowblow, and tries to set Gigantis up for an early Pedigree. But, Gigantis flips him over his head for a big Back Bodydrop!! Gigantis riles the crowd up, and goes for a Chokeslam. The Game kicks him in the gut though, and goes for a DDT. But, Gigantis blocks it, and drops The Game instead with a Facebuster!! He covers The Game up, and somehow he manages to kick out on 2!! The Game rolls out of the ring, and Steph consoles him. He walks around the ring, and decides his next strategy. He slides in the ring, and goes to work on the back of Gigantis immediately. Gigantis fights him off with a Headbutt. And then follows that up with a BIG BOOT to the skull!! He lifts The Game up, and plants him with a giant Suplex!!! That rattles the ring, and he makes the cover.. 1, 2, foot on the rope! Gigantis gets back to his feet, and he signals for his one finisher. He gets his hands wrapped around The Game's head with a Vice Grip. But, The Game kicks his way out of it, and then bounces off the ropes deliverying a High Knee shot to his side!! He uses that hard shot to bump Gigantis on purpose .. knockin the referee over like last time!! The crowd is stirring as The Game goes to crawl for the ropes. However, Gigantis grabs him by the back of the head, not allowing him to leave the ring, he delivers a devestating chop ..and that takes The Game to the mat! Gigantis drops a BIG leg on his throat, and covers him up.. but no ref. ... Gigantis goes for the ref much like last time.. but, The Game rolls him up for a pin from behind right when he's gettin the official up, and he holds the tights, with his foot on the ropes just for extra leaverage to pin the monster down for a cheap 1, 2, 3!
Match Quality: 2 1/2 Stars, Match Duration: 6 minutes, and 33 seconds, Match Result: "The Game" via pinfall.
The Game rolls out of the ring, and celebrates with his wife Stephanie who whispers her vows in his ear, and he smiles as they share a kiss.

Ryan Ryder: Listen, we know you are salty from last week .. so despite what happens tonight .. how about at Independence Day you get another shot! But, just remember ... don't say we never gave you anything .. .
The 2 members of the tag team known as the Wreckin' Crew look at eachother, and then eye the ReArrangers down.
Flip Johnson: You run a hard bargain. How about .. NO INTERFERENCE this time, and you got yourselves a deal!!
Hmm. I didn't realize you were caling the shots. I figured we were doing you guys the favor. I'll tell you what though. You got a deal on the no interferance.. on one condition .. if we win .... if we do beat you .. you have to wait 6 months before your next title shot ...
A half a year? "If you beat us .. at Independence Day .. we have to wait 6 months for a tag title shot"? Hell, we've waited longer than that to get our hands back on our own property! So you got yourselves a deal ...
They stare each other down hard, and the fans are growing anxious for this match taking place later tonight. The huge 3-on-3 encounter.
We cut to Tyroneus Del Rio standing backstage in GM Shawn Taylor's office .. the camera pans out to show "The Game" with Stephanie McMahon...
Tyroneus Del Rio: Por que? What's he's doing here..? Plus, my match is up next ... what could I do for ya?
Well, I didn't know I was the one working for you, and in case you DIDN'T know. If you weren't paying attention earlier. If "The Game" won tonight .. he got to pick his stipulation at our cyber sunday show ... so, this is your opponent on July 3rd!!

The Game smiles, and gets in Del Rio's face.

We cut to ringside where Cliff Saxton, and The Wreckin' Crew are already waiting for their opponents. Out comes the ReArrangers to a decent ovation, and then Tyroneus Del Rio walks out to the ring this time getting a horrible reaction from the crowd here in Atlanta, Georgia. He says something to the ReArrangers, and all 3 men charge the ring. The 6 men share glances across the ring, and they all try to decide who is going to start this 3-on-3 match off.
Tyoneus Del Rio & ReArrangers vs. Wreckin' Crew & "Dangerous" Cliff Saxton - 3-on-3 -
The match starts off with Flip Johnson locking up with Ryan Ryder, and they go at it for a bit. Flip stays in control for the opening part of this bout. He tags in Brutality, and the other half of the Wreckin' Crew goes to work on Ryan Ryder!! Ryder finally makes a tag to Dark Stranger. But, "Brute" takes it to Dark Stranger, and works him back in to his corner. Brutality irish whips him across the ring, and Body Splashes him in their corner!! He tags in "Dangerous" Cliff Saxton, and he goes to work on Dark Stranger. He manages to pick him up for, and somehow delivers a huge Slingshot Suplex!! He goes for the cover, and Ryan Ryder breaks up the count!! Cliff tags in Flip Johnson, and Dark Stranger tags in Tyroneus Del Rio. Those 2 start battling it out with flying fists, and they exchange a few vicious chops in the center of the ring! Prompting the crowd to "Woo" everytime they do. Eventually Del Rio kicks Johnson in the gut, and sets him up for a Cross Armbar!! But, Brutality breaks that up right away!! Tyroneus crawls, and tags in Ryan Ryder. Flip manages to tag in "Dangerous" Cliff Saxton. These 2 men start battling it out. Ryder gains the upperhand at first. Then Cliff Saxton works him back in the corner. Stalling him with a Shining Wizard, followed by a crucial Bulldog!! He plants him, and makes the cover. But, Ryder kicks out on 2!! Cliff lifts Ryder up, and brings him to their corner. He tags in Brutality, and Brutality really pounds on Ryan Ryder. He lets him have it, and tosses him head-over-hills down to the canvas. Ryder rolls to the outside apron holding his back. But, Brutality manages to lift him up, and actually SUPLEXES him over the top rope back in to the ring!! He doesn't go for a cover. Instead he drops a hard knee on his forehead, and then he goes for a pin. Ryder kicks out on 2! Brutality tags in Flip Johnson, and he slaps a Sleeperhold on!! Ryan Ryder works his way off the canvas, and delivers a few elbows to his mid-section. He finally reaches out and tags in Tyroneus Del Rio! Del Rio comes in, and cleans house. Taking Flip Johnson down, and ducking a sneak attack clothesline from Brutality!! Del Rio turns back to face Flip Johnson, and kicks him in the gut. He lays him out with a Swinging Neck Breaker!! 1, 2, -- Brutality breaks it up with a hard kick to the back of his skull! He exits the ring, and Del Rio starts to come to. Flip reaches out, and tags Brutality as fast as he can!! Del Rio crawls for the ropes, and rolls out of the ring.. he doesn't bother to make a tag. The ref starts the 10-count, and Tyroneus steps on the outside apron at 7. He tells Brutality to back up. When Brutality does he steps in the ring, and quickly tags in Ryan Ryder. It's Del Rio who then hops out of the ring, and makes his way back up the ramp. He started this all week, and now he's leaving!!! Flip Johnson doesn't like it, and gives chase up the ramp. Brutality throws a wild punch at Ryder, and he ducks it. Ryder starts jabbing Brutality back in the corner. But, "Brute" counters back, and tosses him in the corner now. Hitting him hard with inside elbows, and knee shots!! That takes Ryan Ryder down, and "Brute" backs up in the opposite side of the ring. He gets in 3-point stance, and rushes in for a devestating SPEAR!! That lays him out, and Brutality tags in Cliff Saxton!! Cliff rushes in for the pin, 1, 2, kick out!! "Dangerous" Cliff Saxton starts working on Ryan Ryder, and sends him back-first in to the corner. Cliff then mocks Dark Stranger a bit, and stomps away on Ryder right in front of him. Cliff Saxton walks back casually to tag in Brutality after posing in the center of the ring a bit! Ryan Ryder reaches up, and quickly tags in Dark Stranger. Now, "Brute", and Dark Stranger lock up in the center of the ring. Brutality throws a couple hard knee shots in there, and sets him up for a big time Powerslam!! He makes the cover, and Dark Stranger kicks out!! Brutality moves back, and gets in 3-point stance again. He rushes in, and DRILLS Dark Stranger with a Spear Tackle this time!! But, right as he's going to cover him up for the pin. Out rushes Tyroneus Del Rio back out here .. . lookin over his shoulder, he slides in ring, and breaks up 3- count! "Dangerous" Cliff Saxton doesn't like that, and starts swinging on Del Rio. Knocking him out of the ring, and gets him out of the picture!! Ryder tries a sneak attack on Brutality but it doesnt work .. "Brute" lays him out with a Spinebuster!!! Del Rio sends Saxton back first in to the barricade. Del Rio then hops on the apron, tagging in Dark Stranger, unbeknownst to "Brutality" who lifts Dark Stranger off the ground, and goes for a Sitdown Powerbomb .. when Tyroneus Del Rio sneaks in the ring, and rolls him up from behind 1, 2, 3!! That's the 2nd cheap roll up from behind we've seen in row now!! First "The Game" rolls Gigantis up from behind out of nowhere, and now Del Rio scores a pinfall seemingly out of nowhere to end this 3-on-3 encounter.

Back at ringside, and a familiar theme music hits. The crowd goes wild with plenty of mixed reactions as "The Original" comes rolling out on stage in a wheelchair. He has on a suit, and a neckbrace around his neck. He has a fat, sloppy assistant with him who is wearing a white cut-off t-shirt, and a baggy pair of jogging pants. The assistant is carrying crutches, and they make their way down the ramp. The Original gets to the bottom of the ramp, and stands up holding the crutches. The big sloppy assistant picks the wheelchair up, and places it in the ring for him. He then literally assist The Original up each individual step. The process takes a few minutes to get him back in the center of the ring, sitting on his wheelchair, and now he has a microphone in hand as he addresses the XWF people.
The Original: Everybody knows by now .. that I am out here to make this HUGE announcement regarding my career in the XWF... .. .. now, I know what you've been thinking. Rumors has been circling. People have been making claims. One of them ... and despite what Falkenyork says about "firing him", ... well, that's simply not true. Because, as of this moment ... I Quit!!
The fans don't know how to react. They are taking this all in. Some boo. Some cheer!
.. due to injuries sustained at Xtreme Mania .. .. due to what took place in that Last Man Standing match ... the doctors say .. there's a good chance I won't walk ever again.. without the assistance of somebody else. I won't ever be able to get around they say .. unless it's by this wheelchair.. or those crutches.. maybe a walker!! You realize what you have done to me Falkenyork? Huh? How does it make you feel?? And then .. you go out, and you tell these people you "fire" me? You take it upon yourself.. the night I'm humilated, embarassed, injured.. to the point I could barely breathe, and can't even freaken stand!! You take it upon yourself ... to .. actually ... rub it in a little more, and you FIRE me on the biggest stage of them all. How does it make you feel now, huh?? Knowing I'm injured? Knowing I'm crippled? Knowing I will never be able to wrestle again .. and it's all your fault ... it'll all happend at your hands at Xtreme Mania. That wasn't enough for you!.. It wasn't enough to try to ruin my career.. to put my family in jeopardy. To attempt to steal food out of my childrens' mouth!! That wasn't enough for you York ..
The crowd begins to understand a little more. But, still unsure what is really happening. It's hard to trust anybody involved in this situation afterall.
I will ..... READ MY LIPS Falkenyork!! .. I .. will .. NEVER ... be able ... to wrestle .. ..againn! .. My career was cut short, and it's Falkenyork who should be out for good! It was Chris Falkenyork who promised to never wrestle another match ever again. We'll see if he lives up to his end of the bargain!! But, no ... he took it upon himself to claim he wasn't even going to show up... to say he was done .... to leave the arena .. and then SNEAK UP behind me!! He sneak attacked me early on in that match, and then .. he attempts to put me through that table later!! It had no 'give' to it .. the table to shatter. My neck was practically SNAPPED in HALF!! And you have the audacity to come out here... take it upon yourself... to "FIRE" me ? To FIRE "ME"??!? Where do you get off pal?? I'll tell you what .. I'll tell all these people what the deal is. You didn't just take my career away from me.... you have completely destroyed my life... I can't even change myself for Christ sake!! I have to get someone to help me take my clothes .. on, and off in the morning!! .. Do you UNDERSTAND ME??!? Do you UNDERSTAND me Chris?? Huh? Christian? Chris Falkenyork?? FALKENFAG!!? Are you getting this thru to your skull?? You have practically paralyzed me from the waist down ... I can't even make love to my wife anymore ....

I already told you all..... due to why you see me here in this very wheel chair today ... I will NEVER wrestle ever again. I will NEVER, eh .. eh everrrr... step foot in an XWF ring again!! The Original waves his sloppy bald assistant on, and helps himself up on the crutches. His legs practically dangling from his body as the Assistant helps him out of the ring, and they make their way back up the ramp to a strange mixed reaction from this Georgia Dome crowd!

This video package shows Shotgun, and Phoenix locking up for a bit at "Xtreme Battle Zone", and eventually ending with Xavier Phoenix catching 2005 XWF Hall of Famer, Carlos Shotgun off guard with a spinning hell kick known as the "Drama Club"! That move led to a pinfall by Xavier Phoenix, and that is where they last met. This time however it's simply a 1-on-1 encounter but they both have an opportunity to advance to the main event of our Cyber Sunday card by winning this #1 contender's match tonight, and going on to face "TV_MA" Mark Adkins for the XWF World Heavyweight Title.
THE MAIN EVENT -
Carlos Shotgun vs. Xavier Phoenix - #1 Contendership for XWF World Title -
Both men make their way out to the ring to very nice ovations from the crowd!! Lots of heat still put on Carlos Shotgun. But, Xavier Phoenix has lots of fans in the building pulling for him tonight to get 1-more-up on Carlos Shotgun. They circle each other in the ring when the bell sounds they instantly lock-up in the center of the ring. Shotgun works him back to the ropes, and wears in on him with an inside forearm. But, Xavier Phoenix breaks away from it, and they lock back up in the center of the ring again. Xavier Phoenix gives him a quick Hip Toss. Shotgun bounces back to his feet, and catches a 2nd Hip Toss that Phoenix turns in to an Arm Drag!! He pulls back on his arm, and applies pressure to the back of his shoulder. Xavier Phoenix remains in control for the most of the opening part of this match. He hits a few solid dropkicks, and goes for a quick pinfall! Shotgun kicks out easily on 2! Xavier irish whips him to the corner, and Splashes him in the corner. Carlos falls face-first to the canvas, and Xavier Phoenix mounts the top turnbuckle. He leaps off for a Crossbody that he turns in to a pinning combination, .. but, Shotgun rolls through it, and has him pinned.. but, Xavier reverses it, and has Shotgun pinned for the 1, 2, kickout! Carlos Shotgun looks frustrated as they lock up again. Carlos has him in sideheadlock, and Phoenix pushes him off. Shotgun drops him with a Shoulderblock, and takes off towards the ropes. He leaps Xavier's body as he hops back down to the canvas, and when Carlos comes back Xavier goes for a Hiptoss. Which Carlos blocks, and simply pokes the kid in the eye. He then lifts his back leg up, and delivers a Lowblow to Phoenix out of nowhere! The ref warns Shotgun that he can be DQ'ed for that. This match is Standard Rules only. Shotgun claims he didn't know, and the ref checks on Phoenix. But, Shotgun wastes no time, and rushes in.. Xavier pulls him though, and sends him flying through the 2nd rope down to the outside mat!! Xavier Phoenix has the momentum going in his direction now. As he grabs the top rope, and leaps out but Shotgun goes to catch him, and instead Phoenix lands on the outside apron with both feet. Then hops up, on the 2nd rope, and does a complete BACKFLIP!! He drills Shotgun nicely with that brilliant Moonsault, and the crowd marks out hard for Xavier Phoenix!! Phoenix works him on the outside. Slamming his head on the top of the barrier 5-times, and then dragging him over to Suplex him on the bottom of that steel ramp!! The ref warns him, and calls them both back inside as he begins his 10-count. Xavier Phoenix eventually rolls Carlos Shotgun back in on 8, and goes back to work on him!! He stomps away on him, and wears him down more. He drops an elbow to his skull, and goes for a pin. But, Carlos kicks out!! The crowd is livid. They are loving this XWF action right now. What a Showdown! main event we are having so far!! Phoenix works him over in the corner, and places Carlos on top turnbuckle. He goes for a Suplexplex, but Carlos reverses it, and actually slams Phoenix back to the mat for a huge FACEBUSTER of his own!! Carlos then stands up high on the top turnbuckle, and sort of signals to the crowd before leaping off, and connecting with a great FLYING ELBOW DROP!!! He hooks the leg, and Xavier Phoenix kicks out on 2!! He barely gets a shoulder up, and Carlos goes back to work. He places him in a Figure Four Leglock, and Xavier reaches the ropes to break it up! Carlos stomps away on him, and grabs his leg.. slamming his knee in to the canvas!! Over, and over!! He places his leg on the bottom rope, and leaps up n' down on it!! Just SITS down on that knee!! The referee warns Carlos he can't be doing that. Carlos ignores him, and drags Xavier Phoenix to the middle of the ring. Xavier tries to fight out of it. But, Carlos kicks him in the thigh, and sets him up for a Sharp Shooter in the center of the ring!! Xavier Phoenix is caught in the middle of the ring ... ...
.. .. but, he FINALLY reaches the ropes!!! The crowd POPS loud for Xavier Phoenix as he stays alive, and still has a shot to become the #1 contender here tonight ... Carlos can't believe it, and immediately starts kicking away at Phoenix. Then he argues with the ref who is counting him off while he steps on his throat, and chokes him in that corner while he's on the ropes. Carlos goes back to attack Phoenix but instead- Phoenix tries to throw him through the ropes again. This time- Carlos catches himself on the outside apron. He grabs the bottom rope, and holds on tight. He lays on the outside apron, and Xavier Phoenix gets up. He tries to Suplex him back in the ring. Carlos tries to suplex him out of it. He BLOCKS it. Xavier knees Carlos in the gut, and takes off towards the ropes. He bounces back with a straight Shoulderblock, and knocks Carlos backwards off the apron. Xavier goes to the ropes again, and literally does a Full Front Flip over the top rope, and smashes Carlos Shotgun down hard on the bottom of that ramp!! Both men crawling for the barricade now. But, Xavier Phoenix gets up first. He tries another high risk maneuver scaling the outside post. But, as he goes for a High Cross Body-- Carlos catches him with a hard right hand to the gut, and Phoenix does a mini-full flip to the outside mat! Xavier Phoenix looks beat up, and Carlos Shotgun gathers himself a minute. The XWF fans on their feet for this one!! Referee is reaching his 7 count, and Carlos rolls in the ring to break the count for a second. He rolls back out, and grabs Xavier by the hair. He then yells something in his face before sending him flying BACK-FIRST in to those STEEL STEPS!!! That impact can be hard thundering throughout the arena!! Carlos Shotgun mocks some fans, and then picks Xavier Phoenix up.. rolling him back in the ring. Carlos kicks the back of Xavier Phoenix in the middle of that ring!! Stomping away on him!! He then goes for a Sharp Shooter. But, Xavier uses all his strength in his legs to flip Carlos down to the mat instead. Carlos looks pissed, and rushes in for a Small Package,.. 1, 2, kickout!! Carlos is mad, and he goes to lift Xavier up. But, Xavier kicks him in the leg. Kicks him again on his hip, and then another kick to his ribs. But, Carlos manages to grab his foot, and goes to swing with a big right hand. But, Xavier ducks it, and uses his momentum to go for an Enzuiguri which Carlos ducks .. and Xavier just slams the canvas. Where Carlos quickly turns him over for another Sharp Shooter in the center of that XWF ring!! The XWF people can't believe it. Xavier might tap here!! Carlos might be the #1 contender after this deadly submission finisher...
Xavier manages to get a finger tip on the rope, and Carlos drags him back center of the ring. The fans can't believe it. Xavier looks exhausted. Carlos is wrenching back. Spit flying out of his mouth, and his face beat red. But, Xavier manages to find the arm strength to push himself up again, and turn the move over. He rakes at Shotgun's face. He pokes, and pries.. he punches, and then he grabs the back of his head, and somehow manages to turn it in to a small package for the 1, 2, kick out!! Carlos argues with the official in utter disbelief possibly. He goes after Xavier, and Xavier kicks him in the gut out of nowhere. He goes for a Suplex. But, Carlos blocks it, and manages to work his way behind Xavier for what looks like a possibly release Belly-to-Back Suplex .. but, Xavier does a complete full backflip over Shotgun's head, and lands on his feet. Carlos turns around, and walks RIGHT IN to a "DRAMA CLUB"!!! That shot knocks Carlos clear across the ring, and Xavier Phoenix crawls fast for that pinfall. 1, 2, foot on the rope!! The crowd is stunned!!! So, is Xavier Phoenix. He pleads with the referee now. Carlos gets back up looking woozy, and ducks a big right hand from Phoenix. He kicks Phoenix in the gut, and looks to go for a Bullet Bomb. But, when he lifts Xavier Phoenix up instead he locks his legs around his head, and instead counters it in to a perfectly executed Hurricanrana!! That moves sends Carlos flying across the ring, and the people are sent in to an uproar back to their feet!! They are cheering, and rooting this newcomer on!!! They want to see Xavier Phoenix scores this upset again over Carlos Shotgun. They see Xavier getting to his feet in the corner, and waiting on Carlos to stand up. Soon as he does Xavier Phoenix comes in, and CONNECTS with a 2nd "DRAMA CLUB" to the skull!! That shot though knocks Carlos through the 2nd rope, and clear out of the ring to the outside!! The XWF fans are buzzing. The crowd is stirring, and Xavier Phoenix rolls out of the ring. The referee starts his 10-count. As Xavier Phoenix tries to pick Carlos Shotgun off the ground, and get him back in the ring for that pinfall. The referee reaches a 4-count when Xavier finally rolls him in the ring. He covers him up, and makes sure he can't get a body part on a rope anywhere. 1, 2, KICKOUT!!
The XWF fans are stunned, and they feel like they've seen a 'match-of-the-year' canidate here tonight. Xavier sizes up the situation, and goes up top signaling to the crowd for his finisher. He leaps off for the aweinspiring Flight of the Phoenix!!! But, Carlos Shotgun rolls out of the way in time. Xavier catches a stiff canvas, and he's laid out now. Carlos crawls over, and throws an arm on him. 1, 2, kickout!! Crowd is estatic!!! We get to a point where Carlos Shotgun does manage to drag Phoenix by the legs to the center of the ring, and is about to go for a Sharp Shooter. When Xavier Phoenix rolls him up in to the 3rd small package of the night. .. 1, 2, kickout!! Xavier Phoenix barely knows where he's at, and he crawls to the opposite side of the ring trying to pull himself up. What's going to happen here. Looks like Phoenix might want to go for another "Drama Club". Carlos is leaning face first over the bottom rope, and when out of nowhere "TV_MA" Mark Adkins rushes down the ramp .. he has a steel chair in his hand .. he CRACKS Carlos Shotgun over the head with that steel chair!!! The referee sees what just takes place, and immediately rings for the bell. The XWF fans don't know what is happening. Xavier Phoenix is wavering in the corner. He's trying to recollect himself. The referee tells the ring announcer Danielle Worley to make the following announcement. She says, "as a RESULT of a DISQUALIFICATION" .. the winner of this match ... and the new #1 contender for the XWF World Heavyweight Title .... CARLOS SHOTGUNNN!

The crowd was sort of upset of the result. But, they are extremely excited to see "TV_MA" out there for the first time all night!!!! He yells, and growls down at Carlos Shotgun, and then plants him with 2 more chair shots over the back, and skull!!! He's maybe paying him back for the way he used the steel chair against him in the 1st of the '3 Stages of Death' match back at Xtreme Mania 6 for the XWF World Title. Now, "TV_MA" is hovering over Carlos Shotgun with a steel chair, and Xavier Phoenix happens to be retained before "TV_MA" Mark Adkins is .. because, Xavier is trying to get his hands on him. But, the officials also are scared because "TV_MA" has a chair. He eventually gives it up, and surrenders so to speak. They push him back from Carlos Shotgun, and officials tend to the new #1 contender on the canvas in lots of pain.

... "TV_MA" remains in the ring though, and pushes all those dumb security guards in black shirts, and XWF officials asside. He asks for a microphone from Danielle Worley, and he waits for the the XWF crowd to calm down. Because, they all break out in a chorus of "TV_MA" chants!! The people in Atlanta, Georgia inside this Georgia Dome are a bunch of maniacs right now for "TV_MA". They are marking out hard for Mark Adkins, and he simply looks around the arena. He takes a look at all their faces, and then gets right down in Carlos Shotgun's face. Spit flies out of his mouth as he yells down at Carlos Shotgun .....
"TV_MA": I will see you INDEPENDENCE DAY!
The scene for our June 21st addition of HBO After Dark's new hit series Showdown! starts to go off the air, and the XWF fans seem very pleased at the action that just took place. TV_MA's music blares over the loud speakers, and that pumps the fans up more for what goes down in just over 11 days at "Indepdendence Day".
That theme music, and the look on TV_MA's face as he stares down at Carlos Shotgun tells the full story. It's also helping to set up the next cyber sunday event taking place on HBO on Sunday, July 3rd .. for the first ever "INDEPENDENCE DAY" extravaganza!! Presented by the folks at Xtreme Wrestling Federation. We fade out on this final image ...
