Basic Training
101

In developing this game a major part in the make-up of the SIM horse would be the ability for an O/T to be able to train his SIM horse. In dealings with my own horses, Down The Jazz included, I have found that having ideas on conditioning a SIM horse to prepare it for future races is essential in it's development. Just as there are horses In Real Life that have enough inherant qualities that sets them apart from their competition, so true with some SIM horses and their need for training is minimal. There are other horses who's racing performance is greatly enhanced by a trainers training methods that bring out qualities in the horse that surely would not have been something the horse could attain on his own. i have found this also to be the case with SIM horses.

By using different Jockey Instructions and the use of different distances in your horses races, you will find this will effectively prepare your horse for future races while giving a good or winning performance in today's race.
For example; Look at my horse Babified Silver # 9776, he is a sprinter and even though he is a stakes horse what I am about to say can be used for horses at any level, effectively. Earlier in his carreer I felt confident in the natural running style he gave of pressing the pace, that this would be his most effective running style. He had won a few races using this style with the Jockey Instrustions; Jockey Select (-1). After a while, although his condition may have been Sharp, he lost his tactical ability. I didn't know then but have learned now, that by asking him to; Go For The Lead (1), that this will enhance his tactil ability in future races when the Jockey Instruction is set back to; Jockey Select (-1). Also, because of his natural running style of pressing the pace, when his Jockey Instrustion is set at (1) Go For The Lead, he doesn't necessarily have to have the lead wire-to-wire. He is able to let other early speed horses give their best shot of going wire-to-wire before he finds his high gear and overtakes them.

I am not saying that your horse will develop into another Babified Silver but using these simple techniques will greatly enhance the performance for your horse for whatever class level he may be in. Babified Silver's Graded stakes win would not have been possible without using this simple Jockey instruction technique.
