No Doubt - Tragic Kingdom
No Doubt is a ska-pop group from Califoria. It
consists of Gwen Stefani (vocal), Tony Kanal (bass),
Tom Dumont (guitars) and Adrian Young (drums.
Their music is somewhat similar to ska records by
artists such as Madness and The Selecter. However,
they have taken ska music to new heights with 'Tragic
Kingdom'.

musicians and I would have never listened to
Bob Dylan by choice, but now I can honestly
respect so many different ways of playing music
and expressing what you're trying to say." |
My View
Their respect for many different styles
of playing music shows, as their album is
interesting on so many levels. Gwen's singing
is very strong, which contrasts with all the
weak singing out there today. No Doubt have a spry,
white-suburban take on ska and Blondie-esque pop, which
feels relaxed and fascinating. Every song is a good
song; no slackers here!
