I didn't plan to modify the Civic too much, I thought a few upgrades would suffice. It didn't take long for that old passion to revive and I found myself ordering upgrades again. To the left is the Civic as it looked when I purchased it, ICW wheels included. The fact that the wheels were added at the dealer level meant that I didn't have to look for a set that I wanted, especially since I like this style.

I soon added Altezza style taillights and increased the bass from the factory sound system with the help of Pioneer subs and a Pioneer amp. I lost some trunk space and may change to system to a smaller sub with a more compact cabinet.

I installed a set of Neuspeed Sport Springs which lowered the Civic about 1.75" in the front and about 1.5" in the rear.

I installed an Injen Technology short ram Air Intake and a black Neuspeed front strut tower brace. I then painted the OEM wire cover and fuse box cover red. I purchased the Altezza lights, Neuspeed springs, and Neuspeed strut tower brace from NOPI. The Injen Technology intake was purchased from Ptuning. The stereo equipment was purchased at local shops.

Future upgrades include a Type-R style front grille (Ordered; to be installed at the end of August '02), HP Racing cat-back exhaust system, and upper strut bar with matching lower rear tie bar. A set of Angel Eye projectors may eventually replace the OEM headlamps to give the Civic a totally different appearance. I would also like to add a VIS style, vented carbon fiber hood, but that can wait.
