Star Wars: Episode 1 was a great movie. I think it is the best out of all the Star Wars movies. Hopefully the second and third episode will be just as great. I think this one is better because of the CGI (computer generated images). They were really good graphics in this movie. The new playstation has these kind of graphics.
In this movie Obi-Wan Kenobi is a young jedi, apprentice to Qui-Gonn Jinn. Qui-Gon Jinn is the one who insisted on training Anakin, which was the beginning of everything. If Qui-Gon listened to Yoda for once, who said it was a bad idea to train Anakin, none of the things in the future would have happened. But if he hadn't insisted on training Anakin, we would have never gotten to watch the Star Wars trilogy. Qui-Gon was right about one thing though, this boy will bring balance to the force. The way I see it is right now there is an apprentice, a master, and the whole jedi council. On the dark side there is Darth Sidious and Darth Maul. In the trilogy there is Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Luke. Obi-Wan dies leaving Yoda and Luke. On the dark side there is Darth Sidious and Darth Vader. It is 2 and 2. In the trilogy Obi says that Darth Vader was to hunt down all the jedi. So he made it 2 and 2. The force is balanced.
In this movie it isn't Darth Vader following Darth Sidious, but the cool Darth Maul with his cool Light Staff (double sided light saber). I like Darth Maul better than Darth Vader. He can do cool moves and is like a ninja, meanwhile Darth Vader couldn't do that stuff. It is rumoured that Darth Maul is going to come back for the next 2 movies.
