I'm not going to put loads of information here about the band, there are hundreds of other sites that do that job much better than I ever can, such as this oneI just wanted to let it be known that Radiohead are my fish of a lifetime if ya know what I mean. |
I first got into them thanks to my brother (he's actually responsible for a large portion of my musical taste, lucky for me he didn't like NKOTB or something...). The whole obsession with this band just grew and grew, culminating in me and Tamsin (also a big fan) actually believing Thom and several other pop stars lived with and around us (don't ask). We called them the little darlings, and i think they're still around today, I last saw Thom up my chimney, and Ed still has his tree house in the woods opposite my house. Colin is still seeing Nigel Clarke, although they abandoned their baby, Minerva, and rumour has it that she is now seeing Bill Gates. Good God. |
But anyway, back to the issue in hand, Radiohead are an inspirational band, never believe the tossers who call them miserable and depressing, people who say such things are more often than not miserable and depressing themselves. I feel like Radiohead are a real part of my life, that is, they and their music have the power to affect me which i believe is really what music is all about, and how does Thom and co do this? Because they say stuff like this:
