Fat Kid Are:
'Fat Kid' is the band of one of my best pals, Mark Gale. They're a kind of energetic punk/indie outfit, and they have a whole bundle of ORIGINAL (so hard to find in new bands today) catchy songs, such as 'Violent Pig' (actually 'Violent Pink' but it sounds like Pig) and 'Fear of Flying' where as far as I'm concerned Simon sings 'since you've been gone I've been out shagging'. The band have been doing a lot of gigging and impressing us punters, and have even managed to blag their way into getting some proper management. Mark is known to sell demo tapes of them (as well as assorted duty free fags and booze) out of the back of his car.
