      "Eulogy for a Veteran"

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the Gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush

of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

      "What Price Freedom"

      From the American Revolution to
Bosnia, there has been so many young
men and women that have been
injured or loss their life for their country.
These were the chosen few who now have
gone to a better place where they no longer
      will feel pain or strife.

We ask ourselves “why”. The reason my
friends is because of the love they
had for their country, and this can
      never be taken from them.

This page is set up for them, all of those
young men and women who have given
up their place on this earth, and also for
all of those who now are considered
missing in action. They the Government
may consider them missing in action, but
not us, as they still remain in the hearts
and minds of us all, we must not leave out
those who made it back, to them we say
      “Welcome Home”.

You went to war and you came home, but you
did not come home untarnished, you are the
ones left to live with the horror you saw
and lived with, while you were there.

All of the women we must also remember
as they too were there to take care of
the wounded and be there if they were needed
for them. They were the ones who were there
when our loved ones passed on, it was their
faces they saw when their time on this earth
ended. They too must live with all of those
      horrors.

We do appreciate and thank you for
helping to keep us still free. This
page is dedicated to all of you.

“May God Bless and Keep You All.”

      "Forever In Our Hearts"

      God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place.
      He then looked down upon
This earth and saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you
      And lifted you to rest.
      God's garden must be beautiful,
      He always takes the best.

He knew that you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
      Get well on earth again.
So He closed your weary eyelids
      And whispered, "Peace Be Thine."

He then took you up to Heaven with
      Hands gentle and so kind.
It broke our hearts to loose you,
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you Home.

"I AM THE FLAG OF THE
      UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"

I am the flag of the United States of America.
My name is Old Glory. I fly atop the
world’s tallest buildings. I stand watch
in America’s halls of justice. I fly
      majestically over institutions of learning.
I stand guard with power in the world.
      Look up...and see me.
I stand for peace, honor, truth
and justice. I stand for freedom.
I am confident. I am arrogant. I am proud.

When I am flown with my fellow banners,
my head is a little higher, my colors
      a little truer.

I bow to no one! I am recognized
      all over the world.
      I am worshipped – I am saluted.
      I am loved – I am revered.
I am respected – and I am feared.

I have fought in every battle of
every war for more then 200 years.
I was flown at Valley Forge, Gettysburg,
      Shiloh and Appamatox.
I was there at San Juan Hill, the
trenches of France, in the Argonne Forest,
Anzio, Rome and the beaches of Normandy,
      Guam, Okinawa, Korea and Vietnam.
Know me, I was there. I led my troops,
I was dirty, battleworn and tired,
but my soldiers cheered me and I was proud.
I have been burned, torn and trampled
on the street of countries I have helped
set free. It does not hurt, for
      I am invincible.

I have been soiled, burned, torn and
trampled on the streets of my country.
And when it’s by those whom I’ve served
in battle – it hurts. But I shall
overcome – for I am strong.

I have slipped the bonds of Earth and
stood watch over the uncharted frontiers
of space from my vantage point on the moon.
I have borne silent witness to all of
America’s finest hours. But my finest hours
      are yet to come.

When I am torn into strips and used
as bandages for my wounded comrades on
the battlefield, when I am flown at half-mast
to honor my soldier, or when I lie in the
trembling arms of a grieving parent at
the grave of their fallen son or daughter,
      I am proud.
