Show Concept
The 8th production of Cirque du Soleil, Alegria is about the changing of society over a period of time. This is where the "out with the old, in with the new" theme comes into play. Significant changes take place throughout the show which are represented with the act as well as characters themselves. The clown are the witnesses to this change in soceity; however, they do not change themselves.
