Chapter 34 CHAPTER 34
Brian and I brought the baby back home, and went into her nursery with her. We had decided, over much debate, to do her room in Winnie-the-Pooh. It was so gorgeous.
"This is your new room, Rebecca," Brian said, walking around the room with her in his arms.
"I love you both so much!" I sighed.
"We love you, too, don't we Rebecca?" Brian leaned down close to her ear, then, straightening up, he proudly announced,
"She says we love you very much!"

2 weeks later...
We were all at Me and Brian's house, eating dinner because everyone still couldn't take their eyes off Rebecca, so we were having dinner to give everyone a chance to hold her some more. AJ was holding Rebecca, pretending Rebecca was talking to Joy when suddenly Joy yelped in pain. AJ jumped up.
"What's wrong,Honey?" he asked his face expressing extreme concern.
"I think the baby's coming!"
"Now?"
"Yes, now!"
"Let's get in the car!" AJ exclaimed.
"I think it may be a little too late for that..." Joy
trailed off.
"You mean you're going to have it here?!" "Yes"
"O MY GOSH!!! MY WIFE IS ABOUT TO HAVE A KID, RIGHT
HERE!!!!!!!!" AJ ran around yelling.
"Honey, it's okay...I think."
"Melissa, you've delivered babies before, you do it." Christina coaxed her.
"I've delivered BABY. Singular. One. Only one. Only because it was an emergency."
"Well, looks like you're going to have to do it again."
"O GOD HELP ME!" Melissa prayed.
"God help me! I'm the one in LABOR here!!!" Joy shot
back.
"But I'm the 8 and a half month pregnant woman that has to deliver the baby!"
"Good Point"
"ok, don't push yet."
"WHY?" AJ asked.
"I'm the one delivering this baby, you shut up!" Melissa threatened AJ.
"Ok"
ten minutes later...
"I want you to push now." Melissa said to Joy. "O MY GOSH! I'm going into LABOR!!" Melissa screamed suddenly.
"O GOD...O GOD NO..."
"Are you serious?" Howie asked, running to Melissa's side. She nodded.
"I was ignoring it, but it's serious..." Kevin, the only level-headed person in the house, ran to call 911. He told them to send an ambulance, and then asked how to deliver a baby. He called the instructions out to AJ and Howie, and they began to deliver their very own kids.
"I see a head!!" AJ announced.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" Nick asked.
"Generally, you can't tell by the head." Joy snapped. Nick looked thoughtful, and grew quiet for awhile.
"PUSH!!!PUSHH!!!!!!" yelled AJ.
"AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" screamed Joy. "It's a Boy!!! WE HAVE A SON!!!" AJ began to yell. Melissa lifted her head to look at Joy.
"Congratulations!" she whispered.
"Congratulate me later, right now you have a job to do!" Joy whispered to Melissa.
"Push, honey, push!" Howie yelled.
"It's a girl!! I'm a daddy!! You're a mom!!" Howie
yelled, bursting into tears.
All the women began to cry. Then Howie and AJ. "I love you, Matthew Christopher McLean." Joy said softly, taking the baby in her arms.
"Shouldn't you consult AJ about the baby's name?" Brian asked.
"We decided on the names the day I found out I was pregnant." Joy said.
"O"
"Let's call her...Megan," Melissa suggested to Howie. "Sounds good to me. Megan Ashley Dorough. I love it."
Howie announced.
