Bowie At The Beeb!

Bowie at the Beeb came out in Europe today. I haven't received my copy in the mail yet, but I should be getting it tomorrow or Wednesday.
However, I've heard from those who have gotten it that it's stellar.
So, those of you Yanks who haven't ordered it, head over to the news archive (page 2) and do so!

Extra! Bowie's Personas Take Over!

*giggles* *falls on the floor laughing*

Have you noticed that Bowie is quite the comedian these days? Here's the latest news flash on his multiple personalities in response to a poster on the BowieNet message boards:

"Crikey Buster, how gobsmackingly presumptous you are. Do you know how many f*cking personas I get through a day!!! Do you have any idea how crowded the dinner table gets in this house. And they all have their own opinions. None of them mine. I bet you're not even one of them are you? Are you one of my opinions? I thought not. Until you've walked in my shoes, or rather, until I've walked in my shoes I should bloody well 'shut up' until I'm asked for my opinion, shan't I?

I'm sorry, I have to go and see my doctor."

*snicker* You'll be seeing that up here in a quote box sometime soon. It's too good of a quote to gather cobwebs in my mind.

On July 31st BowieNet members participated in a live 'FanMix' webcast-- we got to choose which mix of a 'The Man Who Sold The World' we wanted on the album, as well as watch, listen, and interact with David Bowie live from the studio.
