In January of this year I didn’t think life could get any better, but suddenly everything hit me all at once. In February my life suddenly wasn’t mine anymore. I had no control over anything I said or did. Finally I had enough and couldn’t take it anymore, so I tried to commit suicide four times. I did not understand why I wasn’t succeeding in death. Then one day my mom made me go to church. I went to church with the thought of when I get home I’m killing myself no matter what, but once I got to church things were TOTALLY different. I gave my life to God and it has been uphill ever since. I feel as if people care about me and I feel more loved now than I’ve felt in my whole life. Now I can truly say my life can not get any better than it is right now. All thanks to Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for a second chance….Shonnie Richardson, 16 years old.
