The Louisiana system of campaign financing pollutes our politics. The cost of being elected to public office is enormous. Many who would make good public servants do not run because of the high price tag.
Our current system requires public servants to constantly raise money. Many are forced to make questionable compromises and deals with big money contributors. We work on issues, which relate to voter access. We are made up of both members and organizations. We were formally founded in 1998 and we have a diverse board of directors of both young and older, black and white.
