I work at McDonalds. I am a Drive-Thru/Counter person. I hate to work the counter. I much prefer Drive-Thru. I think that it has something to do with the "Sea of Scowls". For those of you that may not know, that is the rather large group of people that congregate around the counter between 11:30am and 1:00 pm. They are all in a rush, and they will make certain that you know it. Drive Thru is much more organized. I just prefer that little bit of stability. Drive Thru is hectic, I won't lie, but somehow, it is not as stressful to me. Go Figure.
I hate my job. But, as I stated before, they (who the hell is "they"?) don't call it Work for nothing, now, do they..... I like my co-workers, however. I don't know how I would get through the day without them. We have "arguements" a lot, and I do get upset quite often, but I really do like them. I like most of my Managers, too. We have a lot of fun. I could name all of the managers and crew that I get along with, but my fingers would fall of, there are so many. I really do like my co-workers. Most people that I talk to say that thier bosses are assholes. So is mine, but he is a lot of fun. *laugh* (Chris, I know that was mean, rude, and totally uncalled for.... you will survive....*laugh* You know I am just kidding~! SHE-ZILLA RULES~!) We all have our little "quirks", I suppose..... I am no angel.... *laugh* I guess that is what makes me "special".
Well, perhaps I have changed my mind.... I don't hate my job...I just get tired of it sometimes... But I know that I am going to be there for a while.. So I may as well get used to it and try to do the best I can...It's what I have, and I am lucky to have it. I guess that is what counts...
