They said they'd come back.
They are my friends. They'll come back. I know they will. Especially after what I did. Yes. They are proud of me. They said I could help them. I wanted to make 'em proud of me, so I told them I'd do anything they wanted. That made them happy, and that made me happy.
They said that all I had to do was to knock over the pic-a-mix candies at the Stop 'n' Shop. They said I could eat some of it, too, but only the wrapped stuff, 'cuz the other stuff had bugs in it. That's why I had to knock it over. The guy at the counter got really mad at me. I guess he didn't know about the bugs.
While we were picking up the dirty candies, they were takin' care of the register, so no one had to wait to check out. This one lady musta bought a ton of stuff, because she handed them a bunch of money and ran out. Too bad she forgot her stuff.
That's when the police came. I guess they heard about the bugs, too. The police must've really wanted some candy, because they were so mad. One officer pulled out his gun and told my friend not to hurt me, or else. I tried to tell the man that I was ok, 'cuz my friend had a hold of my ar, and wouldn't let me get more than an inch away from him. He was protecting me. After all, the policeman had a gun. He must have been scared that I would get hurt.
We all ran out the back door. It was a lot of fun, running backwards, untill we tripped over the chip rack. We fell and I hit my head. I think I heard a bad noise, but I don't remember. I just remember waking up in the car. We stopped and got out. My tummy hurt. It felt wet, I guess I got some ketchup on me at the store, but it was awefully warm. I like ketchup best when it's cold.
They put me in a big metal box full of stinky plastic bags. They said I'd be safer there, lots of stuff to lie on. They're always thinking.
They said they'd come back. They said they'd bring help. I hope they come soon, 'cuz I've got homework to do. I've got a great idea for my fingerpainting picture. My teacher will be so proud of me. She told me that I was one ofe the most talented kids in the whole elementary. They said they'd be back. It's getting dark. Mommy's probably worried, burt I'm not allowed to walk by myself after dark. My head hurts, but I'll be ok. They said they'd be back. They wouldn't lie. My head hurts a lot. So does my tummy. I'm pretty tired, but I won't cry. I think I'll go to sleep.
