It had been five days since she had been to Taylor's house, and she had seen him every day since.
She was actully beginning to feel like she fit in. Taylor was always so kind to her... she felt they
were going to get closer. She could just tell.
She had promised Taylor she would swing by his house that day, so she set out early. She
reached his house in ten minutes, and knocked on the door lightly.
Taylor swung open the door, and grinned. "Zoey," he said. "I'm so glad you decided to come
by."
Zoey grinned. "You sound so polite," she remarked.
Taylor laughed. "Thats the way I was brought up. I was just upstairs watching the television," he
said.
Zoey smiled. "Cool, whatcha watching?"
Taylor's face flushed. "It's the science channel."
Zoey raised her eyebrows. "Oh really? What's so interesting on the science channel, huh?"
"The mating of insects?" Taylor said, grinning.
Zoey laughed. "Uh huh. I see... so is that something you watch everyday, or is this just
something you took interest in watching now?" Zoey raised an eyebrow, and gave him a slick
look.
Taylor laughed. "Nah, it's just something Ifound when I was flipping through the channels."
"Ahhh, well...did you want to finish watching it? I could just wait while you watch it."
"Why don't you watch it too?"
"Because...'cause...oh fine, I give up."
Taylor lead her up the stairs and into a cozy looking room. "So... this is what your watching,
huh?" she said as she watched two insects on the screen. She tapped Taylor on the forehead, and
said, "Gee, I wonder whats going on in that mind of yours now..."
Taylor rolled his eyes. "You probably don't wanna know."
Zoey's eyes got large.
"Just kidding!"
She laughed. "I can't believe you watch this crap! I mean, how can you actully base the person
you like on animal instinct?"
"Simple. Everyone has a little animal instinct, it's just the way you look at it."
"Yeah, whatever. All I know, is that I don't have a bit of animal instinct towards who I like."
"Oh really? Who do you like?" Taylor asked.
"Nevermind."
