Tupac Amaru Shakur, aka 2pac, was the greatest and most well-known gangsta-rap artists. Unfortunatly he was gunned downed in Las Vegas on September 13, 1996 this year, which ended his life. He was last seen with Suge Knight who's incharge of Death Row Records. There are many rumors going around about how Suge killed Pac, because of one saying that sounds like "suge shot me" on Pac's album Makaveli. 
I believe partnas like Suge and Pac could neva turn on each uda like dat.
When the news of Pac's death was announced ,I was in a chat room at the time and everyone was talking about how 2pac didnt make it ..I couldnt believe it, or maybe it was just that I didnt wanna hear somone as talented as 2pac go so soon! He was only 25 and had the most of his life in front of him, he still had many things to accomplish. However many of his tracks that were unrealeased before he died are now being released, like his new album "remember me" I would like to give a review but i have not bought the album yet, soon tho! Even though 2pac is dead he is still remembered and will always be. It helps when people make a web page about the man they loved, a bruda, a homie, a idol, a man wid talent, a fatha, an actor, the best rapper that has ever lived till today...2pac was all of da above. I believe 2pac will b tha #1 artist foeva. His music will never die, as you can see it still hasnt..and it's been 2 years since his death! Is it true Makaveli 2 is coming out?

Tupac was born on June 16, 1971 in Brooklyn, NY, when his mother, Afeni Shakur, a member of the Black Panther Party, was in jail on charges of conspiring to bomb several public areas in New York City.
Tupac was named after an inca chief named Tupac Amaru, which means shining serpent, Shakur is arabic for thankful to God. 2pac was so talented..of course he had to thank God. Tupac lived in New York in his young years but later moved out to Cali. But before he moved to CA he and his family moved to Baltimore, MD, where he attended The Baltimore School for the Performing Arts. In Baltimore Tupac also starts writing his first rap lyrics and performs under the name MC New York.
Unfortunately for Tupac he had to quit the school at Baltimore and move along with his family to Marin City, CA, in June, 1988. There he started hanging around with the wrong crowd and soon got involved with criminals and started selling drugs, starting on the road which later on lead to his own death... 2pac's music expresses his thug life. Tupac only had his moma. 
The first group Pac joined was Digital Underground as a dancer and rapper. However he later proved to us that he was much better as a solo rapper. In 1991 Tupac's dream of realeasing his first solo album came true. He titled it 2Pacalypse Now, this was the beginning of a kick'n career. Shortly after the release of Tupacıs solo album, he files a $10 million lawsuit against the Oakland police for alleged brutality following the arrest for jaywalking. His talents also gave him a role in the motion picture Juice. -Great movie, He has also started in many other movies. (and pac's other albums)
Pac's music was very convince'n...In April, 1992 Ronald Ray Howard,19, shoots a Texas trooper and Howardıs attorney claims that Howard was incited by 2Pacalypse Now, which was in his tapedeck, to kill. I think this was bull, coz everyone has their own mind. Just that a man needed an excuse not to get the death chamber, so he had to make up this lie. Just shows you how people are greedy, and didnt want Pac to have the success he had. Once this happened, it only brought more trouble. In Marin City, a six year old boy died and pac's half brother, Maurice Harding was arrested but later realeased. Da peeps claimed it was a lack of evidence!
Later, the vice president denounces pacs first solo album, but pac still keeps his head up high and brings us his flava rap. This confidence brought Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z in 93'. This was a big success and it eventually sold platinum...bringing a smile to pac's face. Finally his hard work though the years paid off. However along with success come trouble, 2pac was accused of using drugs in the back of a limo but the charges were dropped, must of been a lack of evidence again frum da greedy peeps out der. Pac was arrested many times after this.
He was accused of swinging a baseball bat at a local rapper, but Pac got sentenced to only 10 days in prison. Once again Pac was arrested, this time for allegedly shooting 2 off-duty Atlanta police officers who were harassing a black motorist, but the charges were eventually dropped. Wierd, that always seems to happen. But the biggest story that was on every newspapers headline was the accusation for sexual harassment to a 19 year old woman. After that he was arrested once again, i guess coz pac lived a thug life! But he was only sentenced for 15 days, accused of punching a director. I guess this tried to show Pac had a bad temper, but everyone does, some just show more than others. Tupac appears in the movie Above the Rim, where he played a troubled drug dealer, which was familiar from his life on the streets.
This brought Pac to L.A to sign with Death Row and start recording his fourth solo album, All Eyez On Me, which I think was Pac's best album.(went quintuple platinum) Later to join the Death Row Crew would be Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, Nate Dogg, Michel'le, Danny Boy, Sam Sneed, The Lady of Rage, and Dr. Dre, which later leaves Death Row Records and starts his own...called the Aftermath. Snoop, Pac, and Suge became very good friends while be'n on the Death Row team.
In February 1996 the fact that Tupac had been sleeping with Biggieıs wife, Faith Evans, went public. Faith denies the stories. Pac had beef with Biggie in his earlier years. Biggie supposvily told Pac if he wanted to go anywhere with his career he should stay in NY. I guess this made Pac mad and it started the East (Bad Boy Entertainment) vs West (Death Row Records) war. 
This soon started the fans of east and west wars. Death Row employees and Bad Boy employees face off at the Soul Train awards in Los Angeles (96'), words were exchanged and a gun was pulled. Tupac was supposivly set up by BiG and Puffy. Pac was
madd and released a song titled"Hit em
Up"which talked hellsa smack bout Biggie,Bad Boy, Chino XL, Mobb Deep, and others. On September 4, 1996, Tupac returned to New York for the MTV Music Video Awards and got into a scuffle.
Later in September of 1996,Tupac and Suge Knight left the Mike Tyson - Bruce Seldon fight in Las Vegas in Sugeıs car. A white Cadillac with four people inside pulled alongside at an intersection and one person opened fire. Tupac was hit 4 times while Suge escaped with minor injuries. Tupac was brought to the University Medical Center.
On Friday, September 13, 1996, Tupac died after 6 days in critical condition. Tupac Shakur was pronounced dead at 4.03 pm, his body was later cremated. He was only 25. Some people today dont believe 2pac is dead.
