A CHILL ON THE BAYOU:
UTAH FREEZZ SCHEDULES EXHIBITION IN LOUISIANA

The Utah Freezz will go cajun for a week in July as they participate in *Turf Wars* July 10-14 at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. The event will feature a training camp and two exhibition games for the Freezz against new WISL foes, the Dallas Sidekicks and Houston Hotshots, as well as youth camps.

Utah Freezz Head Coach Dave Poggi will return to his former stomping grounds. Poggi was the coach of the Lafayette Swampcats (EISL) for two seasons, winning league titles both years.

The event will begin with the Freezz taking on the Dallas Sidekicks in an exhibiton match on July 10th. The Sidekicks are the defending league champions and are lead by indoor soccer*s greatest player, Tatu. The Freezz will then face the Houston Hotshots on July 14th.

The rest of the week will be spent in training camp in preparation for Utah's inagural season, which begins on July 31st in Portland as they take on the

Pythons. The home opener will be on August 6th, an exhibition match against El Salvador.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for us as a new team to gain some valuable experience and grow closer as a team," said Poggi. "Lafayette is a great soccer town and we look forward to putting on good show for all the fans there."

Season ticket packages for the Utah Freezz are on sale now. Call 988-KICK for more information.
