Explosions
Pidge bent down beneath the computer panel.  The wiring was a mess and it took a while before he could spot the bomb.  It wasn't like anything he'd ever seen before and he felt his gut tighten with apprehension.
Outside of the tiny access panel he heard Hunk shifting from foot to foot in nervous aticipation.  Sighting he slide out of the cramped space.  And from a sitting position he looked up at his friend.
Hunk's features showed his impatience as he held his arms out at him to help him to his feet.  "Well?"
Pidge got to his feet and gazed past Hunk, at Keith and Allura.  Lance, who was leaning against the wall met Pidge's gaze, and walked out.  Rubbing his face he answered Hunk.  "Not good.  But I still can't figure out how the sabatour got past security.  No one should have been able to plant that bomb in Red Lion during it's maintenance check."
Keith shook his head, "If Lance's intuition hadn't gone off... he could've been killed."
"Yah, well, here's even wores news... Lance won't be able to fly the Red until we remove it, which, if the build of the device is any indication it's going to be a long time before that happens."
"Well, you and Hunk get on it.  While Allura and I find Coran and let him know."
After the two of them left, Pidge and Hunk went to work on the lIon until Hunk's stomach growled and they decided to break for lunch.

In the kitchen, Pidge kept his eyes open for Lance but he was no where to be found.  While Hunk stuffed his face Pidge decided to check to see if Lance was in his room but didn't find him and decided to return to the task of disarming the bomb.
When Hunk returned it wasn't long before they gave Red Lion a clean bill of health, and they both began cleaning up the mess they'd made.  Pidge got so caught up in what he was doing that he didn't hear Lance approach until he was right behind him.
    "How is she?"
Pidge gave his red clad friend a toothy smile, "She's even better than before."
Lance nodded, "What about the bomb?"
"Well we've got it contained, though it still needs to be taken apart so that it can be..."
-------------------------------------KA - BOOM-----------------------------------------------
The palace rocked and Lance caught Pidge, "Was that....?"
Pidge grinned sheepishly, "Yah.  But it was in a Reconbesator so the shakings all the damage it could've done, but I wish I had been able to take it apart, it could have been fun."
"You know Pidge, sometimes I worry about you."  Was all Lance would say as he walked away shaking his head.
