Let's take a look
around the French Quarter at the crowds and
the "costumes"! (click on the pictures to see
a larger version)
It's getting jammed and it's only 9am! Look
at em' all...they look like busy ants!

Even the
balconies are jammed, and they're throwing
beads down to the
crowd....

I see lots of people dressed
as jesters...always a popular costume for
Mardi Gras

Look, it's "I Dream of
Jeannie" down
there in the crowd!

Now here's a patriotic
family.....

Hmmmm, green ears and pig
noses... anybody want to guess what they're
suppose to be??!

More jesters, in Mardi
Gras colors this time!

Awww, isn't she cute, a
little mermaid!

Now this "could" actually
be some nuns and priests, everybody goes to
Mardi Gras...nooo...don't think so!
Not everybody is in costume of course, most
are in everyday clothes, you see a lot of
green, gold and purple though!
Oh... I hear
music, here comes the parade!! Click
