Dic's Sailormoon S and Supers... Kill Me...

DiC has officially announced that they are in production of English dubs of Bishoujo Senshi SailormoonS and SuperS (which will now become "Sailor Moon S: We Hate Lesbians, Boobs, and the entire real plot of this show") Sorry, I'm just a little bit bitter. The Dubs will air on Cartoon Network later this fall. Damn the man! SOS got its way. Now we're screwed.....
Reasons We're Screwed:
- Fansubs of these episodes are now illegal. VKLL has ceased production and asked distributors to pull those episodes from their libraries. Luckily, most decent distributors will continue to offer these titles for the same "free" rate as always (you pay only for the tape and shipping).
- Dubbies will now go around believing Michiru and Haruka (whatever they're called in the new episodes *shutters when she thinks of the names Corrine and Alex...*) are sisters or something. I'm willing to bet ChibiUsa's fling with Elios will be edited and God only knows what other changes will occur to these beautiful episodes. Ack!
- SOS will now brag that they did it with some ridiculous "Pepsi Cola" campaign. ^_-
- People who like the original series will have to cope with more dubbie merchandise, webpages, and misinformation.
- The stupid NA theme song will be added over the ending songs "Otome no Policy" "Tuxedo Mirage" " 'Rashiku Ikimashoo' " and the rest of them. Grrr...
- "Raye" will become even more of a bitch because of the oppurtunities to misrepresent her in S (the first episode alone must have been a field day for Hino Rei haters at the DiC corp).
- I don't even want to think of how poor Hotaru's voice will be, but she sure as hell won't be as powerful.
- Kaolinite's dress will probably be inked in at the top to cover up the cleavage.
- Neptune's "Deep Submerge" will probably become "Water Tornado Strike" while Uranus' "World Shaking" will be "Yellow Planet Earthquake Boom!"
- More evil Sailor Moon Says....
Okay, so those are only some of the problems. As you can tell, I am not happy.
