These are the release dates and brief synopses issued by Marvel. Since I own all the issues, I might add my own personal touch, but, for the most part, this is all prewritten.
Gambit #1 - December 23, '98
THE SCOOP: At long last - after overwhelming

in his very own monthly mag!
THE STORY: He's back with the X-Men, but all is not
right with Remy LeBeau. Gambit managed to survive the
harsh environment of the Antarctic, but how? What is
the price of his salvation - and how might it keep
him forever separated from Rogue? Can he ever be truly
accepted by his teammates again? In this giant-sized
debut issue, witness Gambit's origin, including
never-before-revealed facts! Plus: new mysteries! New

Gambit #2 - January 27
Gambit vs. Storm?! The Cajun X-Man must appropriate

it under the nose of his friend and fellow accomplished
thief, Storm! Just how does the leader of both the
X-Men and the Morlocks feel about her ally's role in
the Mutant Massacre? Plus: He's methodically uncovering
the secrets of Gambit's past, but who is the "New Son"?
Gambit #3 - February 24
Well, for some reaon, Marvel doesn't have the link up for it's Feb. comics, so I'll just improvise here after a quick skim through the book. Basically, the main point of the story is introducing two future enemies of Gambit's, the Mengo Bothers. There's a battle between the two and, in the end, Gambit naturally comes out on top.
Gambit #4 - March 24
Guest-starring Blade! Gambit returns to the shadowed
streets of New Orleans -- only to find that the
Thieves and Assassins Guilds alike have been decimated
by an unknown force! Now, the man cast out from both
groups is their only hope -- and his only ally is the
man known as Blade, the Vampire Hunter!
Gambit #5 - April 28
You asked for it, you got it: Rogue's back! They're young. They're in love. They're Gambit and Rogue, comicdom's hottest couple. But, as always, there are obstacles in their way -- like the mysterious entity the Southern super hero glimpsed inside Remy's mind a few months back... not to mention the X-Cutioner! The ragin' Cajun won round one back in the first issue, but now the armored soldier is back, and he's not only determined to gain vengeance, but to also make Gambit pay for the sins of his past!
Gambit #6 - May 26
Who is... the Pig?! The mysterious underworld figure known only as the Pig has a grudge against Gambit and a homicidal mad-on for the Thieves Guild. So what tragic event in Gambit’s past was this foul foe responsible for? And can Remy LeBeau confront his deepest fears - and some of his worst memories - to defeat the Pig and save his family?
