As for your proposals, all of you, to shut them up: for shame. Even on your own terms you are not consistent--freedom for everyone except those who happen to disagree with the smelly little dogmas of our day--"rights" for homosexuals to engage in fundamentally disordered and gravely evil acts, abortion on demand, etc. This proves what I have long known: there is nobody so illiberal as a liberal. Fascism and the trendy-wendy opinions of the left are two sides of the same coin--agree with the "tolerant" or they will shut you up. Some tolerance! Some freedom! Those who engage in much that a peaceable, fully secular state will permit (eg., abortion, euthanasia) stand in danger of hell's eternal fires. As a Texan I puzzle whether these are kindled with mesquite, live oak or trash cedar but this will be answered on the Last Day by the Almighty. (Tris Engelhardt)
