Dark Thoughts

The sky overhead is a dark black, dotted with tiny diamonds of stars. Small points of light in the woods playing among the trees. A bubbling stream flows not more than a yard from your feet. Yet only dark, evil joy is taken in this beauty. The hunger for nighttime, for darkness envelops you. You only wish for the taste of blood, for passion. Never at peace, always wanting more. The energy. Emotions flood your body as you lose control and let the want overcome you. Lust, passion, hunger, need... They overcome you and you collapse to the grassy floor, feeling the hunger that is the night....

Dark is a friend. Daylight brings the world together, but darkness brings true nature out. People expect you to be a certain way. A certain person. And you are. You conform to their wishes, their eyes during the day. But the night is your friend. When passions are unearthed and the soul is bared. Passion makes life worth living. For without it, we would know a sort of peace. But the Emptiness would not be worth it.
