old Jack Russell Puppies are very
adorable but don't let that fool you into thinking that they are all sweet and
never going to be in trouble. Jack Russell Terriers Can get into all kinds of trouble
and seemingly all the time . They demand a lot of your attention all the time
which is very easily given when you first get a puppy. Jack Russell Terriers
don't seem to care how long you have had them they want your attention all the
time. That is part of the reason that you as a new puppy owner must train your
puppy to listen to you .Constant discipline is a must with a Jack Russell puppy
.A Jack Russell will continually challenge the limits of his boundaries or the
ones that you have imposed. More often then not it is you being trained to
accept the Jack Russell way of LIFE.
Some of the time these little dogs don't get along
well with other pets such has cats. Even though they are just playing here it
can become hazardous to the cat as the pup gets older. This is not to say
that you can not have any other pets , but to warn you that they may not get
along. We have had very little trouble with the ones that the Jack Russell
Terriers have
grown up or grew up with them around. The place we live at now had quite a few
cats that got left on the place when we bought it (to wild to catch). They would
run from our Jack Russell Terriers bad mistake, that just gave our Jacks something to
chase. Needless to say they didn't all make it.
Some things for you to ask
yourself before buying a Jack Russell Terrier
Will I have enough room so that the dog can
get exercise ?(fenced in yard)
Will I be at home enough to spend time with my
dog?
Do I realize what kind of a commitment owning
a Jack Russell is? A Jack Russell Terrier can live 15 years plus with proper
care.

Chase & Bonnie Jack Russell Terriers are usually Very friendly
and Happy to meet you. Like with all dogs you have to watch them around
younger or misbehaved children they don't tolerate even unintended abuse from
smaller children. Although we have never had any trouble we also make sure to
keep a close eye on our children when playing with our Jack Russell Terriers.
