Come on in and enjoy some southern hospitality. Please sit and get comfy.....let me get you something to drink, an iced tea?... or perhaps a mint julep?... and let's get to know each other a little....not too much now, a southern woman prefers to have a little mystery about her.

You are now visiting me in the lovely state of Louisiana, just across the lake from New Orleans, in beautiful bayou country. The living is slow and easy here... we still sit on our front porches and sip a little something.. and enjoy the soft summer nites, looking at the stars, listening to the crickets and cicadas, giving the porch swing a little push now and then.

It's peaceful out here in the country, and if you get up early enough to go out on the porch and see the sun rise, you'll also see the rabbits, the squirrels, the birds , and if you're really lucky... a deer or two nibbling at the edge of the woods. You'd never know that less than one hour away is the hustle and bustle of a big city
