Mary is neat...
Hey that's-
Mary.
Is she with...
Terry.
Do you think they'll get-
Yeah.
Yes, it's Blue Mary (I'll refer to her as Mary) and as I listen to Shingo Yabuki's '97 theme, all I can say is once again, Terry got the better end of the deal. Mary is not dependant, and it's about time Terry has got a girl who can handle his lifestyle. OK, so it's not confirmed that they are really "together" but hey, they're plenty together.
There's something that tells me that Terry had something to do with Mary's well-being in Real Bout Fatal Fury, but I don't know much about that. Something about Yamazaki... If you know anything about Mary in Real Bout, E-Mail me please. Now it's time for the Mary-ness...
Mary learned all her fighting tech from an old(late?) boyfriend who was some sort of body guard. He taught her the basics, and she, being Mary, took it to all sorts of levels, (probably beating her boyfriend in skill level, tarnishing his mannish pride...women). Anyway, I think her boyfriend, Butch(yes Butch, that's what I heard), died while protecting some high authorities, along with Mary's dad. So now all she's got is her late boyfriends jacket, the one she (Or Anton, her dog), has all of the time. So she's lost two in one, but she doesn't go depressed Terry style, instead, she comes across Terry and they constantly flirt.
Mary does cool stuff like clubs and real life etc., and anything else she wants to because she depends on no one, just the type of person Terry needs (she also realizez that she has a job). All of her fun is reflected through her fighting style, speech, taunt(my friends love a lot) etc.
I've heard her last name is Ryan (No her first name isn't Blue, all you ignorant ones out there). She is a private detective/investigator. She must really love her work, because she's ready to team up with Yamazaki to investigate him.. and she's not even obligated to do it! She also has to team up with Billy Kane, constantly refered to as Geese's dog, and that can only mean trouble. But has she died like all of Terry's other girlfriends? No. In fact, many a man is intimidated by the great Mary Ryan. According to '97, she got lucky(the phrase, not the person), and Yamazaki had his "Turn on teammate" sights set on Billy and Geese, so she didn't have much problems with that. Also, her whole team has their OWN theme's in '97 (don't know about '98).
It's funny, but I think Mary and Andy might clash in a way, this might be a problem for Terry. Mary's personality directly clashes with Andy's quiet boring style. While Andy's brother should be concentrating on establishing a future, he'll probably be out with Mary. Also, Mary hates cats, and Andy hates dogs. Don't get me wrong, Mary is VERY serious when it comes to her work(note the Yamazaki example), she just knows when to rest. Her personality is very persuasive and contagious, she can put a lot of people around her in a good mood. All happy-go-lucky and stuff. That's why she can pull Terry out of his slumps. Notice Terry is mentioned in this pro. a lot, this is because Mary WILL play a big role in his "messed-up" life, like all of his other "girlfriends" did. Mary is just a bottle of goodness helping people out and fixing things left and right.
Mary is buff. If she and Terry have kids, their last names will be Ryan. Play Mary by using Straight slicers and Spiders to build up the POW bar in ADVANCED mode. Then use the highly invincible(at least in '97) Dynamite Swing! Note, if they jump in, use it right bfore or as they hit you, like Chris' '97 Hunting Air. Team her up with Terry and Andy(although I hate doing that because it makes Joe look bad). Then you can use the order, Mary, Terry, Andy. All stocks kept. If you use my team, or most other teams consisting of Mary, Terry, and someone else, you can alternate between ending with Mary/Terry or Terry/Mary.I need more Mary info. Please E-Mail me anything you know. end Mary-ness.
Now here! I finds out that the blue of the Mary worked alongside Butch doing detective stuff. All missions were executed efficiently, but one day Butch said that a mission was too dangerous and that Mary should stay home. She patiently waited.... and waited... and waited, but Butch had run off with the milkman(?) OK, he just never came back. (A little Jerry Springer spice there). They did send Mary that jacket of his which she wears now. Now Butch's place as her partner has been replaced by her dog (how fitting for the name Butch). Her name came from a time when one day she and Butch were sittingat a bar and he jumps up, whips up his favorite drink, and names it Blue Mary. Thats that anyway.
Again! Mary WAS contacted by a dummy agent to investigate the ol' Yamazaki. This was set up through good ol' Geese so that Billy would have a third partner on his team. Mary is just so bold for accepting. She has to be one of the best.
