Mai, what can I say about Mai other than her and Andy get along well, shes a ninja and likes to indecently expose herself{if you've ever seen her outfit you would know what im talking about} yes, Mai that wonderful crazy ninja girl, she's been in Fatal Fury 2, Special,3 and all the Real Bout's
Her teams have consisted of 94:King,Yuri 95:Same 96:Kasumi,King 97:King,Chizuru 98:Same strangely, Mai seems to like King lots n' lots {nothing lesbian, you PERVERT!} probably because king supplies mai with gobs and gobs and oodles and oodles o' sake{that and they're good friends}
Mai joined the KOF for few reasons in 94 it was for the money in 95 it was for the money as well, 96 it was for Andy {oooooooooh, muchas smoochas!} 97 and 98 it was to show the decency of women {not in that outfit Mai!} so as you may have surmised Mai likes Andy and as far as I can tell Andy likes Mai, but the thing is, Andy is kind of a crackpot mess and wants to get all good and bad and buff before he worries about Mai but Mai aint going for that so she tries to lay down her ideas not so subtly {97 intro between them} which Andy tries to ignore which just makes Mai try harder and well, you get the picture.
According to anime:Mai keeps getting kidnapped by people like Lawrence Blood and an exclusive movie character Haur, so mai just kind of waites until Andy comes along and saves her which prompts Mai to get all excited an hug Andy and try to give him thanks while he dodges her with stuff like I was only helping a friend or, you would have done the same for me and other mess like that while that gets Mai all depressed and just makes her try as hard as ever to make him hers.
Now to finally go into detail about Mai and Andy, first off like I said they like each other but Andy is kind of a mess I should probably start from the beginning, Andy went to train under Mai's grandfather and Mai thought Andy was a boring old shlock so she just ignored him as best she could, then before Andy left he gave Mai a pair of pearl earrings for her birthday which Mai thought was all lame, and stupid, then she got to thinking pearl earrings...thats kind of sweet...THAT ANDY GUY IS SLICK! I LIKE HIM FOREVER AND EVER! so that is more or less how the whole thing got started and its been going on ever since.
Mai fights really well and is one of the cheapest characters in the whole game mainly because of her cracked out fan dance and flipping fire DM so, frankly use the fan dance to power up your advanced bar, then unleash the DM or keep them at bay with the fan throw, when they jumpin use her fire backflip, then try a fan dance to mix things up but mainly more than anything use the fan dance and keep them guessing.
